We came in on a Friday night with a group of 6 adults, 1 teenager and 1 small child. Reservations are not accepted on weekends otherwise we would have made one, regardless we were seated about 20 minutes after arriving. My ratings of the experience are as follows:
5⭐ – the service provided by our server, Angela. She was professional, polite, and consistently checked in on us. The Blooming Onion was terrific! Probably the best one we’ve had anywhere.
4⭐ – the Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy with a Side Salad. The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars was the breading just did not stick to the meat at all. It came out like it was in a shell. The Seafood Fettuccine also fell into this category. My wife thought it was delicious, just needed something a bit more to push it to the 5 star level. The Sirloin Steak, it was the last food item to come out and was cooked improperly. It was ordered medium and came out rare. Once cooked properly it was delicious.
3⭐ – the atmosphere. It’s a nice clean place, can get kind of loud. The timing of our food coming out wasn’t great either , it was about a 10 minute difference from the first plate to the last. That makes it a bit awkward when you either wait and let your food get cold until everyone has food, or you eat when your food comes and some are done eating before others even have theirs. The Lemon Drop Martini falls into this category as well. Not bad, not great. Average.
1⭐ – my Old Fashioned. I’m not entirely sure there was any bourbon in my drink. It was very bitter, like they skipped the bourbon and added extra bitters? It was also red, very red. Almost like they poured a bunch of marischino cherry juice in the glass. 0/10 recommend.

This was my first time at JC’s steakhouse and I will definitely be back again. I stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. My NY Strip was cooked to perfection. It practically melted in my mouth. The green beans and corn were the perfect touch. My server Misael was quick, attentive and so helpful. I never had an empty glass. I love pasta so I will have to try that on my next visit. I ordered the Raspberry Donut Cheesecake to go! Not sure if it will make it back to Omaha with me. Overall, my dining experience was top notch! I love this little steakhouse where they make you feel so welcomed right when you enter the doors. Thanks for a great dining experience and I will be back soon!

This place is okay. Maybe we were there on an off day. Service: walked in and given a number…waited at the bar but there’s no bartender. The hostess or a server asked another server to make drinks-if he wants to? He did. He was awesome. I wish he was our server. The drinks were great! Instead the server for our table once we were seated (which was very quickly) left our empty drink glasses and breadstick holder that she never refilled on the table all through dinner. The prime rib was supposed to be rare, but was overcooked and tasted dry. My husband liked his. There was plenty of horseradish to share with my husband who forget to request it. My son said his salad and pasta were good. Overall, it was okay.

First time here tonight! We drove from Lincoln to meet some friends for dinner, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the steak Alfredo, and it was truly delicious. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Our waitress was truly amazing—she took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The portion sizes were perfect, and I believe the prices are very fair. They have a couple of TVs above the bar, so we didn’t miss the end of the Husker game. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon!

The chicken served to my niece was raw in the middle. The waiter did not believe it, but said he would ask the kitchen staff if it was raw. He came back Out and said yep you’re right it is raw. He was the only one that apologized And she was only credited the cost of that chicken entrée off her bill.My sister-in-law‘s steak was ordered medium, but came out medium rare. My steak ribeye was a little tough And had a good deal of gristle in it. I recommended the meatballs because my nieces husband really loves those. There were five of us in our party and all of our water glasses were empty in fact, two of us ate the ice, but the waiter didn’t ask us if we wanted refills. The place is neat and clean and a very nice atmosphere with plenty of on street parking.

I travel a lot, this place is by far a great one on my list now. Misael was my waiter, this guy is super polite and nailed customer service! Perfectly seasoned and cooked steak. If I ever make it back this way – I will eat here again!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We live about 45 minutes from wahoo and we’re in town visiting an ill family member. We were so thankful to see that they were still open at 8pm. I had JC’s Cajun pasta. It was delicious. We will definitely make the drive to eat here again.
