Amazing food. Very authentic and high quality ingredients. The outdoor seating during the summer is so great, especially while sipping on one of the many delicious margarita flavors they serve. Very friendly staff. Just has that small, family run restaurant vibe.

Came to JCs for dinner last Saturday night and loved it. Restaurant has a cozy feel, almost like being in someone’s home. We were seated right away. Server brought us chips and salsa. Drinks were great and the food even better. The al pastor tacos and the torta were all outstanding. I’ve been to many great Mexican restaurants in the city and JCs is right there with them.

I finally came here a few nights ago with some friends for a ladies night! Food was amazing! Only downside is the guacamole was a little under seasoned and tasted a little bland, so we just added salt. And, we had to wait a little longer for requested items because they were short staffed. But that’s not their fault! Other than the guacamole, food is incredibly flavorful, delicious, and the desserts were amazing!

This is a nice quiet place to have dinner with your family in a local town. The food is amazing. If you have a chance to order the Tampiquena, which is a marinaded skirt steak that is cooked to your liking and served with 2 sides, you should do so. Great customer service.

Love going here, especially when outside seating is available. They recently remodeled inside, and it looks great. The food is always consistent,and I particularly like the chicken/shrimp a la diabla.
