Pros: price is relatively cheap and the beef portion of the beef ribs noodles was HUGE! This is the maximum amount of beef I have ever seen in a restaurant tbh. We ended up paying $50 for 2 people.
Cons: taste was mediocre and the beef slices( not the beef ribs) was still mildly cold when served. And I think the taste for the beef slices was not too fresh like it’s been made and stored in the fridge for a couple days. Service was good and honest.

The flavor!! I wish I had heard about this spot before. Everything was delicous. We orderd the bao buns, the pan fried dumplings, the mango chicken, and the Dan Dan noodles with pork(not pictured). It was an overall amazing meal. We dipped the mango chicken with the Da Dan Noodles and it was the perfect combo. The dumplings are just packed with flavor as well. The customer service was great as well. The gentleman who sat us was very friendly and helped us make a choice. I could eat here a couple times a week. Please give this spot a try if you anywhere near Eastlake or Chula Vista.
Eat up!!!

Awesome Taiwanese/Chinese style food! We go to a lot of traditional Chinese restaurants around San Diego and this place really stood out to us as one of the best.
We ordered beef bao buns, pork soup dumplings, dan dan noodles, beef noodle soup, mango chicken and red bean sesame balls.
The food: The beef bao were a great combo of savory & sweet, the soup dumplings had a perfect chewy wrapper and the broth inside was outstanding. The dan dan noodles were saucy and very tasty. I think the Taiwanese-style beef noodle soup was my favorite dish. It was extremely authentic, light and flavorful with very generous portions of beef. The mango chicken was a fun and new dish for us, a cool summery twist on the typical American-Chinese orange chicken with an awesome, crunchy tempura-esque breading. The red bean sesame balls came out hot, tasted fresh and had just the right amount of sweetness.
The service: The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Our food started to come out within minutes of ordering, very efficiently run kitchen.
The atmosphere: Small, quaint, casual and very clean. Decor is tasteful and not overdone.
Overall 10/10. We can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu items!

Oh my gosh, the food never disappoints, it’s so good! Definitely comparable to Din Tai Fung but at a much affordable price (: My family LOVES coming here. The service is so fast and always correct too. The ambiance is simple and can be a little loud at times, but that’s not a problem for us. I do wish they had more pescatarian/vegetarian/vegan options though, because their dumplings are usually mixed with some kind of meat, which makes it a little difficult for bringing friends and family that have those dietary preferences. However, their tofu is delicious and their cucumber salad and green beans are “BUSSIN”
My husband and my favorite, though, is their pork soup dumplings! Their chicken soup dumplings are good too, but for us, nothing beats the classic.
I’ve been meaning to post for a while, but kept forgetting – anyway, HIGHLY recommend!!!(:

Love this neighborhood go-to spot. I can honestly say we’ve tried almost everything on the menu—except the dishes with shrimp (due to an allergy). Customer service is always top-notch: friendly, attentive, and efficient.
That said, I have to dock a point this time because one of my favorite dishes—the stir-fried string beans—seemed rushed. Many of the beans still had tough strings on them, which made it frustrating to eat.
Aside from that, I still highly recommend this place for great Asian food.

This small place has mind-blowing beef noodle soup (pho?). I have attached a photo of it. Cozy atmosphere and quite crowded with steam coming out of every corner! The garlic smell was the perfect perfume in this small restaurant.
My daughter loved her garlic shrimp noodles.
Looking forward to try other foods here.

We came here out of the blue. We saw it on Google and took a chance. The chili dumplings are so good. We also had the mango chicken and the angus steak. We were satisfied with the taste and price. The place is a bit small and I can see it getting crowded but luckily we went at a good time. I recommend this place for a real taste of Asian cuisine.
