I took my wife to lunch and tried out JC BBQ here in Lebanon and we were very pleased. The staff were incredibly professional and well mannered. We were asked several times during the course of the meal if we needed anything…very attentive server! The food was hot and tasty with portions needing a to-go box . Pricing was great in comparison to the portions and all that it takes to prep and prepare the meals. Great job JC BBQ

My husband and I dropped in for some take-out for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the food. Having grown up with Texas bbq we were impressed with the smoke ring on the brisket and the pork was juicy. Both of our sandwiches were great and we split the baked beans and coleslaw. The beans were delicious and the slaw was great on the sandwiches but had a little too much celery seed(?) and not quite enough mayo for our taste. The vibe inside was relaxing, even on a day when the POS system was down, and luckily we had cash for once. The service was quick and the staff friendly. We will definitely go back and try some more of the menu and I will see if they have a spicy version of their sauce!

We were craving BBQ and this is our favorite spot, so we were very disappointed after driving 30 minutes to learn they were sold out of their BBQ meats. We arrived at 5:30 on a Thursday — mind you, they are open until 8:00. This was very surprising to us. I even checked their facebook page beforehand to make sure they had BBQ today. They had brisket, ribs, and pork- we were so excited. Nope – when we got there, none of those options left. It was hardly even dinner time. We left and went elsewhere. It was just super disappointing and this happens quite often. I know it’s hard to gauge how much meat you need for a day and can’t anticipate the crowds during a week day, but still VERY disappointing to arrive with several hours left before closing and have no BBQ options. I guess next time we will call beforehand, but honestly we might quit trying altogether… it’s unfortunate. At least update your Facebook page when sold out!! I need some brisket

I stopped here on a Wednesday a couple weeks back. No barbecue on Wednesdays so I ordered the Sausage and Potato Soup. Incredible. Deep flavors. Rich and inviting. The right thing for a rainy day. Today I ordered a Brisket Sandwich with a side of Cole Slaw. The brisket was smoked with a light and left touch. Firm and tender. A wonderful beef flavor. The fresh pickled onions were spiced with a delicious brine. The slices of the green pickles were bright and stood up for themselves . The Slaw is rough chopped and flavored with care. A wonder of a topping for the brisket. The house made sauce does honor to the newer tradition of Central Texas Sauces, peppery, tart with a solid tomato and molasses base. ( I believe) The taste of smoke lingered long after I had finished the sandwich. Reminding me to hurry back for more Bar-B-Cue soon.

I have lost count of how many times I’ve eaten at J & C BBQ, and it never fails to impress me. The food is exceptional on every level, with high-quality ingredients and generous portions that offer great value. The owners and staff are incredibly kind, and everyone working there contributes to a welcoming atmosphere.
Their barbecue is unrivaled in the valley and has earned numerous awards in national competitions. While everything on the menu is outstanding, the barbecue brisket, ribs, and homemade Texas-style chicken fried steak are particularly noteworthy. In addition to the main dishes, J & C BBQ offers a wide array of unique side dishes not typically found at barbecue joints. Their homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, freshly cut fries, potatoes salad are fantastic. Every sauce and dish is made from scratch, with no shortcuts taken.
The dessert menu is equally impressive, featuring homemade treats that are sure to satisfy. With a full bar and an inviting atmosphere, J & C BBQ is the perfect place for family enjoyment. Call ahead because they sell out often.

Their Texas Twinkies are one the best things I have ever eaten. The pulled pork and ribs are Straight , haven’t tried the brisket. Service is always super friendly and happy to serve great food. The ribs are massive and fall off the bone. You won’t leave disappointed I promise.

The food here is always excellent. It is obvious the care and thought that goes into this business. If you love a good ribeye, get the Competition Ribeye, it’s worth the market cost every time. I have tried so many, some from very expensive restaurants, and nothing beats it. Their in-house made desserts are stellar as well. You can also get an adult beverage, or a great iced tea. Service is thoughtful and the people are fun. I love the online ordering and the customizable burgers/chicken sandwiches and the sweet potato fries are easy/delicious go-to’s on my way home!
