Neighborly BBQ place with good food.
We each had the BBQ sandwich with chips and a drink, and took home the fried pork chop which was HUGE.
We met the owner and he couldn’t have been nicer.
The Butt Hutt is literally a very basic building, and he’s by himself so just be patient.

Link sandwich and hamburger were good, stew was good. 3 stars for no Brisket. Seems to be a great local place to grab a bite if you’re not in a hurry. Probably best to call ahead and order.

Stopped in here with my daughter 12/09/22… Food was pretty decent.. We had the rib plate with baked beans, chips and Brunswick stew (called flint river stew if I remember correctly).. I’d recommend them. They were super friendly and the food and atmosphere was good

Great food. Stopped for breakfast, talked with the the owner, personable, the meal was home cooked.. Not what you get in all the other restaurants everywhere. Real sausage patty, real fried egg, real buttered biscuit. Had to sandwiches. Not going to find this anywhere else! Thank you sir!!!!!

Let me start by saying that in case they forget to tell you, they do have a card fee. The food was good, but they needed to work on the service a little. The communication when pre-ordering a smoked butt was lacking. When I went to pick up, it was raining and cold, so I went inside instead of using the outside window. I decided I would grab a little takeout for lunch and ask about a menu, I was told “it’s outside.” As I said earlier, it was raining and cold, so I said, “ok nevermind”, but the owner said “awe these girls can tell you what we have.” The girls tried to remember and tell me what they had available, but was struggling remembering all the options, so I finally just decided to grab a couple of pulled pork sandwiches. There was a whole other issue with their card fee as well, I’ll spare you the details. I will say if someone buys $75.00 of food, don’t charge them to use their card or at least tell them when they pre-order or when they hand you their card to pay.

Hands down the best brisket I’ve ever had! We were chatting with the owner about being new to Georgia and he asked if I’d ever had Brunswick stew. When I said I hadn’t he went and got me a cup to try and a cup of the pulled pork. I am not a soup or stew person but it was incredible. Everything he serves is clearly made with quality ingredients and a lot of pride. We live an hour away and are already talking about when we’re coming back. Best part is you can buy his Brunswick stew to take home. This is our new go to bbq place.

Food was good. Trash was overflowing on the inside. Brisket was okay. A little too much fat on the brisket. Good sauce. Great coleslaw. Maybe I will try a different meat next time. Loved the chocolate cake!

The food is absolutely delicious! Very clean inside and out eating ! Prices are very reasonable! The owner is so nice and my husband and I enjoyed having a conversation with him ! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Go get some good BBQ ! You will be pleased ! Generous proportions! I had to bring home half my BBQ plate, I was so stuffed !!

Our experience was limited to take out, but the food was amazing still. My family ordered ribs and sausage to enjoy, and boy did we.I would say that it was a bit costly, but at the same time, if you desire scrumptious tasting ribs that you don’t have to cook then this is the way to go. As well, the serving size was more than enough. We ate for two days. Just delicious!!!!
