Had a very nice lunch today. The hamburger meat is fresh and never frozen; so it’s great!! Fish was okay as were the fries and onion rings. However, it’s all a great value at the prices they charge. I’ll go again!!

We both had the special of the day. Hot beef with a side of green beans. The green beans were great. They were fresh beans not canned or frozen. Our waitress, Mary Sue, was very friendly and efficient.

Service was great. Had the wing special and it was tasty. The wings are done without breading and tossed in one of for sauces. The establishment itself is nothing special but serves it’s propose nicely. Friendly atmosphere. Restaurant on one side and separate bar room on the other.

This is a local bar hangout, with a kitchen, Google said that it closed at 10:00, the bar does close at 10 but the kitchen closes at 8:00, we got there at about 7:20, we were told it was fine to come in, then our server told us we needed to process our checks at a quarter till 8:00 so she could leave, she stated she would bust our table in the morning, we were told by the person who recommended the restaurant that we could get our burgers to temp, the server also said we could, everyone’s burger was well done even though some of us ask for medium, the one person that got steak ask for his to be medium rare. It was well done.

Do not get me wrong, the food, the establishment, the actual service etc… we’re great. However I was completely embarrassed for how who I assume was the owner treated and spoke to her employees. Completely absurd, this alone will keep me and anyone who asks me away.
