We held our rehearsal dinner before our wedding in the back room of J and Bs and I just can’t get over how amazing the experience was. We worked closely with the manger, Bob, who helped us make quick and informed decisions for food and drink. He was also kind enough to meet with us several times before day of to make sure everything was in order and even offered to block some street parking spots for some of our older family members! On the day of, we truly couldn’t have asked for more. Bob and his team had linens and decor set up many hours in advance and I was able to drop off personal decor early in the afternoon. We opted for a fish and chicken buffet style dinner and the food was AWESOME. The staff at J and Bs was also very attentive throughout the meal, clearing plates and doing rounds. We had two bar tenders with us throughout the night who were also so attentive and helped us out with the sound system for speeches. The atmosphere just could not have been beat. It was simultaneously laid back and fun while also feeling like an intimate space for our closest friends and family. Please consider them for your next event, everything was outstanding!

We just hosted a Celebration of Life in the private party space this past Sunday – and it was incredible. The space is gorgeous and perfect for a crowd, kids were thoroughly entertained with the arcade games, and setting up a photo slide show and having our own music played was a breeze. Bob was awesome, and everyone behind the bar was amazing. Every attendee stopped us to tell us what a great space it was and how great the food and service was. I cannot thank you all enough for putting together such a great event for us, we’re so grateful and happy it turned out as well as it did. (Cost wise it was incredibly reasonable for the size of the group we hosted as well). Could not have gone better, thank you so much!

Just stopped by for a cold one after the Brewers game. The atmosphere was electric and service excellent for the crowd size. I’m a Pabst guy, so of course it was great for me. I can’t wait to go back.

That grilled cheese was the bomb, seriously. Melted cheese, perfectly toasted bread, and the jalapeño and onion combo brought the heat. Best comfort food I’ve had in ages, no joke. Definitely heading back for another one soon. Five stars, easy.
But the cook Erich… No comment!

Not known as a wing establishment, but their wings are amazing. The same unique way they great their chicken tenders is applied to wings. The house made ranch is amazing and the Cajun tater tots are fantastic! $11 for a pound of wings and $3 for a 1/2 order of tots is worth every penny. Ryan A was an awesome bartender and the service was touch notch. I loved the food so much I ordered a second amount to go. Highly recommend!

Great place to go before and after a Brewer game. Had food and then took the shuttle to the game.

2nd Review: It was our 2nd visit, and once again J&B’s proved to be an excellent choice for a pregame dinner, before taking the free shuttle to and from Miller Park. Great food and great service!
1st Review: Fun place! Great food! Good beer! Amazing service!

Had a couple of their fish fry. Tonight it was perch and quite good. Decent fries too where they leave the skin on!

As a local, it’s great having a place to stop in for dinner or a drink. Their old fashions are the best in a 5 block radius… I’ve tried them all last summer and this place is the best and most consistent. The staff are really nice, we come in often during down times when there is no game and the atmosphere is like hanging out at a friend’s house. The food as well is always good and consistently prepared. Whoever makes the burgers back there seasons the burgers with just the right salt and my burger is always perfectly made.

The local watering hole. No one welcomes you in. Front dining room/bar had interior from the early 50’s. Choose from wobbly wood tables or a plastic tailgate table. Bartender had an ego problem. Food was greasy and overpriced. Cocktail was gross. Place smells like cigarettes masked with paint. Just a place pregame stop for beers on tap. What a shame.
