We read so many great reviews about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The staff and atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. The food was delicious, We had the salmon with garlic spinach sauce and the butternut squash soup. This will definitely be one of our favorite spots to eat healthy food. The best thing about this restaurant is that it serves the community with delicious and healthy food no one is turned away because of lack of money but encouraged to volunteer their time. When you eat here you are also contributing to their positive cause of “feeding all” regardless their economic background. We encourage all to visit, you will not regret it.

The volunteer waitress was cordial, which we appreciated. But if we talk about the food during a slow lunch, we were disappointed. With high reviews, we were hoping to get better grubs. Not to sound ungrateful, but the salad was too plain, our little guy didn’t like the dried tater, and the chips was leathery bitter burned taste. It’s a good thing they served pieces of fruits for our little guy who was so hungry driving all the way up to New Jersey. We liked the garden, the store across the street and hoping to get a glimpse of John, but it was asking too much. We were just glad to have partaken with the facility that John & Dorothea established to help their community. So, we paid our bills for 3 and donated another $50 then took off.

Well one check off my bucket list! Had an amazing fresh meal and everlasting experience and all around enjoyable afternoon at the JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank! Picture perfect afternoon weather was wonderful staff was friendly and fun the peanut butter cheesecake was well it goes without saying LOL the only thing that would make it slightly better was to see jbj himself however I was told he was there last weekend LOL if you know me well now you do that is the story of my life LOL. One day we will be back real soon. Thank you Kathy Melissa and all the stuff there that need our afternoon happy and our bellies full. I am a life-long lover of Jon not only for his amazing talent and the ability to rock a stage no matter where he goes him and his crew, but the fact that he gives back constantly he is just an amazing human with so much to give. I would love to meet him one day and thank him personally shake his hand and smile that big smile. Keep the faith, bought some merch also, well my lovely boyfriend did. Thank you again love from your biggest fan, Fay and my guy Gerry. ❌⭕ ☀️

Right off the bat, Jon Bon Jovi doesn’t appear a lot here, according to the waitstaff, so don’t expect that. What you can expect is an amazing chef-prepared meal provided by volunteers working for free and all they ask is for you to “pay it forward” in lieu of a tip. The recommended donation is $20 per person, but I gotta tell you, I haven’t had fresher, more well-prepared food in a long time. And I cook! The menu changes about every ten days, so it’s always fresh and new. We were served Watermelon Guspacho and it was outstanding! Then I had the Fish and Chips (big UK fan) and it was probably the best cod fried up that I’ve EVER had. Not lying, this place is amazing and the thought behind it is even more amazing. Because if you cannot afford your meal, they’ll help you out. That’s right, free meals for those less-fortunate. So thanks JBJ for thinking of your fellow man!

Very friendly staff! It was very nice to talk to Jimmy and his knowledge about Czech republic athletic was impressive. Nicole, Emily and Mark where extra friendly. We will definitely visit and support JBJ Soul foundation. Don’t forget to buy Bongiovi pasta sauces from local ShopRite store which also supports foundation. A truly magical place!

It is always a great place to stop by and eat. They treat my veterans group and everyone else that comes, as family. My group shows up early to help them with whatever is needed and then we sit down and enjoy the great food and the company
