We popped in for a quick bite on our way through on the interstate. Very clean, welcoming inside. Although not a huge dine-in space. The menu was just what we were looking for. We loved the food and the staff was very cheerful and accommodating. Picked up a menu to stop here again.

Definitely glad we stopped here.
We ordered:
– Crab Cake Sandwich
– Blackened Shrimp Po Boy
– Shrimp Salad
– Coleslaw
– Chicken strips & fries for kids.
Everything was absolutely phenomenal, taste was super fresh, and the atmosphere was perfect for a nice lunch break with the family.
Whenever I’m in the area, I’ll be making sure I stop for something. Highly recommend.

Incredible! It is one of those hidden, local gems that one wonders why such high reviews. Local joint with history and friendly staff. The seafood is excellent. I love raw oysters. They had 3 different kinds to choose from! Seating is limited, so to-go might be a better option during meal rush hours.

The seafood was delicious. the baked oysters really hit the spot, and the crab balls were very meaty. I could tell everything was fresh with high quality ingredients and The price was also extremely fair. I got oyster Rockefeller ( baked oysters) , crab balls, and a cheeseburger for my son for 35 dollars.

This is my first time here as I was passing through. As Friday marks Lent for myself… I’m hungry for some good seafood! The parking is very limited to the size of the restaurant, but these hole in the walls always got the banging food! I ordered the crabcake and I tell you what NO FILLER at all! The portion was huge for a crabcake! My family members they ordered the poboy special (fried fish, sweet potato fries, and coleslaw for $15). I took a bite of the fish and it was tasty. Whenever I eat seafood you gotta get some raw oysters. I got a dozen of 4 different types of oysters. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

While heading to Frederick, my wife spotted the sign for JB Seafood. So we stopped in for lunch. JB is a small place ,but don’t let it stop you from eating there . They have a very good menu, from seafood to pizza . We got some steamed shrimp and some BBQ . Both were fantastic. We very much enjoyed the food, and we will definitely remember the little gem of a place right of interstate 70 . Thanks for a very, very nice meal .

This is my seafood time ordering from JB Seafood and it was still as good as I remember. Since they are so far from where I live, I only get to enjoy them when they vend at the Linganore Wine Festival.
The crab dip in a bread bowl is a HIT every time. Over the weekend, I ordered that and a soft shell crab sandwich. For my first time having soft shell crab, I was utterly impressed. And it was considerably big from what I’m used to seeing. Can’t wait to visit the festival again just to visit them. The staff is always king and accommodating.

Very locally quaint with great seafood and side dishes. More of a Togo place but had limited seating for people to eat in. Great crab dip! Excellent prices.

JB Seafood catered my wedding in October and it was a wonderful experience. Jackie and Tyler could not have been more helpful and truly treated us like family. From the moment we meant them we knew we were in good hands. We had 160 guests with passed appetizers and three different dinner stations. Our guests raved about the food and there was plenty for guests to go back for seconds (and thirds)… Can’t recommend them enough!! 🙂
