Jeanie was fantastic! Food is so delicious it melts in your mouth. If you haven’t done Sunday brunch/happy hour you gotta go here. We have the corn flake encrusted fish, Irish Nachos, and seafood sliders. Gorgeous view overlooking the lake.

Visiting J.B. Hook in March and walked in without reservation. The kind host allowed us to sit at the bar, where we then decided to sit. Met a nice friendly couple next to us and was served by one of the gorgeous bar tenders we ever saw. It was her personality, ask the wife. This place was outstanding. It touched our hearts. We’ll be back. Those carrots were delicious!!

This place was just lovely. You need a reservation if you want seating with a close up view. We were walk-ins and still managed to have a view from our table. Atmosphere and music choices were on point. Beautiful place with a wall of windows were you can view the lake and bridge.

This is a great place for seafood and steaks. Be prepared for dinner $$$. About $150 for two with one martini each. But the view is great especially at sunset and the food was tasty.

This was not our first time dining at Hook’s but didn’t realize we were limited to seating because of the time of day we were there (4:30pm). Dinner isn’t served until 5 so we were given the opportunity to order an appetizer while we waited. My shrimp dinner was WONDERFUL, as you might expect by the pictures.

Before Covid we would come here with fantastic service and food. I would say the past couple years the service has been great but the food has definitely gone downhill. It seems like the freshness, even the baked potatoes taste like they are a day old. Can’t go wrong with a lobster tail. Salads seem like they are not as fresh as they once were. With the price that you are paying my personal opinion is it’s not worth it. I feel if I’m Getting mediocre food I should be paying mediocre prices.
