They are not the same as when I was younger or even the past few years. The brownies are still good. The load cakes are dry. The donuts are huge and dry as if they used too much dough a they raised too high. They tasted a good day all for them to be “just baked” bakery and I called a head to see if they had fresh donuts and they were not fresh what do ever. I got a valentines cupcake that was hard. The pineapple upside down cakes was a little dry maybe from sitting out on the counter I’m not sure. I was not impressed I wish I saved my time and money. L & M bakery is the best around !

Absolutely phenomenal doughnuts. I’ve driven by countless times and never set foot in this establishment until today, and all I can say is that it will definitely not be the last. Perfect texture and flavor, not too sweet, and an abundant assortment that can make anyone and everyone happy. The price was fantastic too! Bottom line is if you’re looking for something that is a step above the chain donut shops, look no further, JB is the place.

It’s hit or miss. Donuts are great, especially the cream filled ones. I’ve had many cakes from the case and special order cakes. More often than not, the cake is dry. Just placed an order a week ago for a small simple vanilla and chocolate layer cake with vanilla icing. I think they took a simple birthday cake from the case and wrote on it and then upcharged for a special order . The icing was tastey, but the cake itself SO dry, especially the chocolate layer. Definitely NOT fresh which was disappointing for the price point. Italian cookies are pretty good. Skip the apple cider donuts. Much better places around for cider donuts. I probably won’t be getting cakes any longer but will still go for regular donuts.

I love this bakery! Best bakery I have ever been to. Their cakes are amazing. They have a large variety of donuts. They even have a maple bacon donut which is my favorite. It’s loaded with crispy bacon and drizzled with maple icing. Giant cookies and brownies to kill for. Their cherry cheesecake takes you to another world. Best carrot cake out of every other bakery I’ve been to. I love their Sicilian pizza as well. And… They also make dog treats. Very nice people work there they treat you like family. Please check them out you won’t regret it and you’ll be back for more like I always am. Lol.

I’ve driven past this bakery quite often to visit my partner but never had time to stop. Just moved to Beverly together and we wanted to go to a bakery. It was the perfect time to try this bakery. We got donuts and butter cookies. The butter cookies had a lot of heavy lifting to do as I very much missed the Polish bakery back in Illinois. They were close and definitely hit the spot. Everything else looked wonderful and I cannot wait to try more.

The cakes and pastries are phenomenal, but the customer service was subpar. The lady helping us had an attitude the entire time. I thought it may have been because they’d be closing soon, but the store doesn’t close for several hours. It’s a shame.

First time visiting. Very friendly staff. Huge variety. My dog loved the doggie treats. The sugarless cookies are very good, so was the bread and pineapple Upside down cake. Yummm. Will definitely go back.
