My daughter and I visited this lovely establishment while vacationing in Montgomery and they DID NOT disappoint! At first I was skeptical about going to the restaurant because of their overall Google score, however something about it kept drawing me to it. I actually read some of the reviews and realized it was minor issues. Everything I read said the food was great so we tried it out and they were right! All of the complaints that were mentioned in the reviews were addressed on the door before you walked in. There were signs about the 18% gratuity on each check, reservations are needed (mostly on the weekend and during peak days/times), and the staff was really nice and friendly. I had a chance to speak with the owner who was really nice as well. AND THE FOOD!!!! OMG the food was delicious! The menu was different and unique. Everything was fresh and made to order and hot when it came to the table. My daughter and I loved our experience there, recommend that you give it a chance, and try it out for yourself!

The breakfast at this establishment was absolutely great. I got the strawberry pancakes with strawberry topping and 2 salmon Patties. The salmon patties were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. My daughter got the French toast with the strawberry topping Turkey, bacon, and scrambled eggs with cheese as well as a Carmel cappuccino iced. Everything was amazing. I wish I lived closer to visit often.

First visit and will definitely be back. I was greeted warmly by the host and others. Service was great overall. I was shocked by the food portions because I wasn’t expecting them to be so big. The food was hot and seasoned well. I recommend the french toast and fish & grits. The prices are as expected of a small business. I’ve gone to chain restaurants with similar pricing for bland food that just looked good. This is an intimate space so the wait for seating is understandable. Just call in advance or make a reservation to avoid a long wait. This is a place that you will have to try for yourself and ignore those looking to pick apart the restaurant. I didn’t mind the automatic gratuity because my experience was great from start to finish.

Jazzy’s Eats and Treats – A Must-Try Local Gem!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jazzy’s Eats and Treats, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the deliciously crafted dishes, this spot is a true hidden gem.

I ordered the Wings & Waffle Heart, and it was perfection—crispy, flavorful wings paired with a fluffy waffle that had just the right amount of sweetness. The Salmon Croquettes were another standout—perfectly seasoned with a crispy exterior and a tender, flavorful inside. You can tell that every dish is made with care and attention to detail.

The service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that serves up amazing comfort food with a soulful twist, Jazzy’s Eats and Treats is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

Made a reservation for 11:30 am. Was seat at 12:05pm. We ordered food at 12:15 pm and drinks Sprite and Sweet tea arrived on the table at 12:40 pm. My mother’s food arrived after another table who came in the restaurant 15 minutes after we ordered arrived first. My food arrived 12:58pm. The fastest item service we received was the bill which was given 5 minutes after I received my food. I was initially excited to support the business but the service and care was horrendous. Tip was automatically included in the bill.

So me and my girlfriend have a reservation, she’s early I am on time. Dude at the door is rude about entry without a reservation before I can open my mouth. I sit. He takes my coffee order. Her order has ready been taken. 10 mins later a woman comes over and says Are you gonna order? Like I was somehow bothering her. I did. Food finally comes. My girlfriend’s is wrong. Waitress is frustrated and gets the right meat. We both got the grit bowl. Still no coffee. I mentioned it. It finally comes. 1 other occupied table mind you. The food was good. Not excellent. Then we get the ticket. A 15% gratuity on a table with 2 people and separate tickets?? WTH? With terrible service too?? No. I hate it to. I like to support US. I can’t here.

My review of Jazzy’s Eats & Treats: The food is made to order with unique menu items, cooked to perfection, and tastes great. The salmon croquettes were delicious, the peach pancakes divine, and the strawberry latte was sensational. The wings fried
To perfection, and the grits were thick, hearty, and seasoned as if I were in my own kitchen. Despite a wait, we were fortunate to have a deck of cards on hand. So, don’t come hungry and don’t rush them; you might miss out on your blessing. We’ll definitely dine here again #Skraitup 10 out of 10

This is a hidden jewel of Montgomery. I had heard about their amazing breakfast and I must say they did not disappoint. We had the salmon croquettes they were crispy on the outside with a soft and tender center. However, Jazzy’s Eats and Treats takes the outside crisp to a NEW LEVEL. This is the one dish you WOULDN’T prefer your Nana’s or Mothers, hands down the BEST I have ever had. The pancakes are AMAZING as well. My picky eater could not stop eating the grits too. LOL

The atmosphere was inviting, clean, and very professional. And you cannot beat the price. We will definitely be back!

A friend and I decided to try Jazzy after reading several positive reviews. Upon arrival, we noticed a sign on the door stating that reservations were required—something we weren’t aware of beforehand. When the host opened the door and asked if we had a reservation, he mentioned it was preferred, but still allowed us to enter.

The interior decor was beautiful and set high expectations for our dining experience. As we walked in, the host seemed to gesture to a group of four women at the bar for approval to seat us, and one of them nodded. He then seated us at a table in the dining area. At the time, the restaurant was not busy—only two other tables were occupied.

Unfortunately, this is where things began to decline. Despite several staff members sitting at the bar using their phones and chatting, no one came over to greet us or take our drink order. We waited for 13 minutes without any acknowledgment. Eventually, we decided to leave due to the lack of service.

Great customer service is essential to any successful restaurant. First impressions matter, and sadly, this experience did not meet the expectations set by the reviews we had read. I sincerely hope Jazzy addresses these service issues and improves in the future.

Went all the way from Birmingham to Montgomery on a stormy raining day to meet my friend for brunch. It started off kinda rocky, because we had to wait almost 25 minutes to be seated we were eventually told that there was only one cook. We placed our order and waited approximately 15 minutes. Once we got our food, it was good . I ordered a 3egg omelet, which was huge and potatoes. My friend ordered the the breakfast platter, which included Pancakes and grits, and a meat.
I wouldn’t make a special trip back specifically to eat there, but if I was in Montgomery, I would maybe go back.
