After a long day exploring Virginia City and Genoa, my family of 12 arrived at Jazmine Restaurant feeling a bit irritable and very hungry. All annoyances were immediately set aside the moment we entered. The vibrant, professional staff were the perfect complement to the calm, elegant dining room. Jazmine Restaurant’s customer service and setting are absolutely top-notch.
We ordered a multi-course, family-style meal. Each dish arrived quickly and at the ideal temperature, in hearty portions, and everything—from the soup to the snow peas, squid, lamb shanks, and lobster chow mein—was delicious. In particular, the sea bass was absolutely perfect. It’s incredible that they are able to source such fresh seafood, let alone cook it to perfection.
Reno has numerous well-known restaurants, but if you want a genuinely high-quality meal in a delightful environment, Jazmine Restaurant is the place!

Yesterday we celebrate my National Day, it’s Julio’s national Day Feb 10th. We came to check Jasmine at Reno and the food was amazing delicious. The entire team from the restaurant were so nice, that even we call the cook and he was so nice to explain the menu we had and took pictures with us ! Thanks Jasmine and James ! Honestly your food is from another level!

Recently under new ownership, this restaurant is now serving first class Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Due to our scheduling, we had to take our food to go, but I wish we had been able to stay, the decor was so inviting. We ordered the calamari, a Grand sushi roll, wor won ton soup, seared pork belly, asparagus, and steamed rice. Everything was lovely – fresh, tasty, perfectly seasoned, nothing greasy. Prices were surprisingly low compared to the SF Bay Area where we live. Chef James even came out from the kitchen to warmly greet us when we picked up our order. We frequently visit the Lake Tahoe area, and when we do, Jazmine will definitely be one of our go-to destinations!

This place was just bought by a group of guys that have been making delicious Chinese food in Reno and Tahoe for decades. I heard they had taken over and had to try. I went with a big group and we were all shocked how amazing the food and service was after such a small turn around period from the last management. All the wait staff were so friendly and helpful. The prices were honestly hard to believe, I live in Tahoe and there is nothing you can find out there like this. All the food came out steaming and beautiful. The flavors were soooo good! The black pepper chicken was amazing, and they did a lamb that was so tender and succulent. I wanna go back just thinking about the food. This is my new go to spot, I couldn’t recommend it higher.

Tried this place for the first time a few nights ago – it’s amazing! The food is great and our server was very nice. We ordered some sushi (10/10) and a plate of the General Chicken (also a 10/10) along with some Vegetable fried rice (10/10). Portion sizes were perfect. We thought about taking some of it home for leftovers, but it was so good we ate everything lol. Overall, great spot, friendly staff, and amazing food!

We were lucky enough to be there on opening night with a party of 35 and it seemed as if they had been running for years. These guys are pro. From big groups to fine dining they have it covered.
The crab fried rice and black pepper chicken are the best I’ve had and the portions were huge. Food was hot and came out fast and made our mouths water.

I was on a business trip from out of town and was not looking for fast food. So I stumbled upon this healthier place. The food was phenomenal. They had several chili options on the side. The service was exceptional. You are seated and assigned a server. The ambiance was elegant, I did not expect this from the outside looking in. I suggest you visit with a larger group so you can share a variety of their portions. I will be back on my next trip, I definitely recommend it.

I have never had Chinese food so good we got the homemade potstickers….Bomb! Calimari…bomb! Fried rice and honey shrimp…. extra bomb! Catapiller roll could make a grown man cry also jesse was our waiter and I have never met a more friendly helpful waiter he suggested all of those foods! And Oscar was on game with filling up our waters man deserves a world record for never letting our drinks go empty.. to the chefs…. I love you ❤️ to the owner and creator of the menu thank you for blessing us with this great food and experience ❤️❤️❤️❤️
