I just love the atmosphere of the old Fish Camps and Jay’s Downtowner definitely has it. Great service with exceptional Fish Camp flavors are always the norm at Jay’s. My favorite is the Salt and Peppered Flounder and Shrimp. I love both of the Jay’s locations and look forward the their Stony Gap road restaurant reopening.

The food was great! The staff was very friendly! I tried the whitefish plate and I’m glad I didn’t get the all you can eat because even on the small plate it was enough to bring home. The hush puppies are also very good.

This was my first time visiting this establishment, and honestly I could nvr give Jay’s a better review… The service was excellent and astonishing at the same time… The “Deviled Crab” was remarkable along with the Alaskan White… I was told the steak was cooked to order 🙂 I would recommend this restaurant be given a chance… I will return myself
