My lunch at Jay’s was very disappointing. I ordered the “quiche of the day” and it was extremely small and flat, and was not much on taste. When I talked to the manager about it, he said that it was due to the humidity and would not remove the $7.95 off my bill. Restaurants need to take responsible for the quality of their food.

Waitress took our order at our booth and brought our food but then she never checked in again. We had to go to the counter to get forks. We never got refills. Had to go to the register to get our check. Another table had to go the counter twice for refills and interrupt waitstaff looking at their phones. Five or six workers we’re chatting loudly with each other (like, could hear their entire conversation over other diners) behind the counter instead of helping customers. At the register, the cashier seemed neither interested nor concerned in hearing about issues, and didn’t even offer an apology, just treated us like we were interrupting his day. AITA here??? I’ve waited tables before and can can excuse someone having a bad day but it seems like all of them needed a babysitter to keep them focused on their jobs. Food was good which is only reason for giving 2 stars.

Ordered take out, just a Ruben and a chicken Caesar wrap. Waited well over 30 minutes, they said the chicken delayed??? While the amount of chicken was generous, it was highly seasoned, so salty I had to throw it away. Lettuce was barely visible, dressing did not have traditional taste, again, way too much, soggy. Pasta salad with it was bland and tasteless. Potato salad with other sandwich was drowned in mayo type dressing. Dressing is not supposed to be the main ingredient So disappointing. Since one sandwich was ok, we may give a second chance, but not holding my breath.

Friendly staff and fast service! We got the Jay’s Club Sandwich and it was amazing! Fries were really good too and so was the fruit cup. Sandwich is $10-$11 side of fries for it was an extra $1. Fruit cup was $2 but my 2 year old loved it (pineapple, grapes & cantaloupe). Honestly that was the best club Sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Definitely coming back!!

I would recommend going here if you would like to eat lunch with your family if you like chicken tenders I would recommend those if you don’t like loud noises I would not recommend but I would give it a 5 out of 5

5 stars bc food was great and staff was working their butts off. But, too busy for the amount of staff they had. So busy it took about an hour before our food was on the table, and we were on a lunch break from work. Food is great, so we stayed. But, we had to scarf it down in 10 minutes to be able to rush back to work.
