I regularly visit this restaurant with my family, and it’s definitely one of the best in Glasgow. One of the highlights is that they offer halal meats, with a separate counter dedicated to halal options, which is a big plus for us.
However, I do hope they improve the signage on the food trays or carts to clearly mark which items are halal. During our visit, my wife accidentally picked up chicken dim sum that wasn’t halal. Thankfully, a friendly staff member noticed and kindly informed us, then had it removed for us. We really appreciated that.
The service is good, but the food is the real star. The Korean lamb and beef that we grill ourselves are absolutely delicious!
One small suggestion: it would be great if they extended their opening hours, especially on weekends. At the moment, they close at 9pm every day, staying open until 11pm would be perfect.
Overall, the food won’t disappoint. Highly recommended!!!
so I chose two.
The food is fresh and tasty no doubt about that… I did read a review and onw person stated it was over rated…
First you cook your own food and habe your own sauces… so not sure the meet and fish tasted fresh…
There are good chicken, beef, pork options and other cut meats.
Good fish, squid, fish balls options
And King prawns too.
I bbq the chicken and pork and was super tasty…
I ate the fish and fish balls and squid and was nice and tasted fresh…
The selection of vegetables and sald and noodles is good… and there are plaenty of asian vegetables. Quite separate from the meat section.
There are a lot of sauces selection
And there is a good sweet selection…
There are no long rows of food selection which is good as the trays are always full and fresh.
The service was very attentive and nice… and I did not even had to ask for more hot water for my tea.
They made sure i undersrood how things worked and felt welcome.
When I walked in i saw every table enjoying themselves…
The tables are seating benches style and 3 a breast ia the max… I saw a few a bit squashed…
All in all a good fun interesting experience.
At some points you don’t even know what you’re really eating. Price is ludicrous – it’s literal daylight robbery. Genuinely it’s crazy that they can charge that much, and it’s even crazier that it’s for the food they give you.
Do yourself a favor and try K-Pot in America and you’ll never want to have this garbage again. Cheaper, bigger selection – high quality food all around and broths that are super flavorful and tasty that you can just have them on their own. Even good hot pot places in New York wouldn’t charge as much as they do it’s insane.
