Great drinks at a great price. Bartender was super unfriendly but price of the drinks makes up for that. The other frustrating thing is the jukebox has 90% of songs blocked from playing so I wouldn’t waste your time on that. Still had a great time and would come back.

Loved the patio at this restaurant. The burgers are delicious even with a lettuce bun. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu!

Nice for socialization and runes to dance, at least tonight.

I recently visited Jay’s on the Lake for a night out with friends and while we had an okay time, there were a few aspects of the experience that left us feeling underwhelmed. First off, the jukebox had an extremely limited selection of music, which was disappointing. We were hoping to have a fun night singing along to some of our favorite songs, but that wasn’t really possible with the selection available.
Another issue we encountered was the strong odor of cigarettes. While the bar does permit smoking the smell of cigarettes seemed to permeate throughout the entire space, which was a bit unpleasant.
On the positive side the people seemed decently friendly and the drinks were cheap and strong.
Overall, while Jay’s on the Lake wasn’t a terrible experience, it also wasn’t a standout one. The limited jukebox selection and strong odor of cigarettes were definite drawbacks.

I have driven by this place ever since I came to town. Finally stopped in for a beer. This is an old school Bar. Very local crowd, a few pool tables, darts, smokey atmosphere. Friendly bar tender. Beer is cheep, shots served in plastic shot cups. If your hungry options a limited to bagged chips and frozen pizza. Not a a place for your first date! I’ll give it another try.

This is an awesome bar that welcomes everyone. I’m not sure how previous poster felt like this is a locals only bar. In this area there are very few people that are really, truly locals. Most of the “regulars” are actually from out of state and say that this bar is just like their bar back home. So, don’t be scared to give Jays a chance!

This seems like a place that likes locals only. I went with a group of friends and we felt out of place. It is dark inside and musty. The best parts are definitely the jello shots and the game room in the back (they have skeeball!!). If we would have felt a little more comfortable with the usual crowd I would probably go back.

I have never been treated more rudely than I was at this bar. My fiancé and I are in from out of town and stopped by this “bar” around midnight. I was instantly glared at for walking in in a nice dress and my fiancé was dressed in a nice collared shirt. We were ignored at the bar and the whole place reeks of cigarettes and stale beer. 10/10 do not recommend at all. Unless you’re into a place that allows cigarettes to be smoked inside and to not get any kind of service. End of story we walked out after 5 minutes of being there and went somewhere else.

We stumbled upon this place by accident. Tiny little pool bar with a friendly bartender, cheap drinks, and several pool tables. Dive bar atmosphere with a relaxed vibe
