Awesome staff and great live music when I went!
After a second trip back I was convinced to change this review to 5 stars. First they have shuffle board there and I love that, and second they have American Honey! Something I find rarely at bars.

First time here and the guy at the door was polite and welcoming. Bartender with brunette hair was rude, didn’t listen to orders correctly, then even more rude after the right order was made, gave me limes in my hand to to pair with our tequila and had no salt. When I asked if there were napkins available to lay said hand limes on was offered a bar rag sat back and watched her roll her eyes at everyone that ordered a drink afterward. But great atmosphere and good music. Bartenders literally make customers want to come back but I’d want to order from this particular one again. She wasn’t pleasant or welcoming at all! Her name was Johnna

great live music, which is not that loud compared to other places where you can’t here the person you’re talking to already. the staff was nice and the bar looks very clean and organized! If you want to have a drink and feel relaxed, Jay St Pub is a great place

On nights when there’s live music I never leave disappointed. Great laid-back atmosphere, where you really get a hometown feel when you’re in the place. Roomy space for darts and other bar games. Everyone is welcoming when you’re there.

A great neighborhood spot in the Electric City. Great spirit selection and a nice selection of local craft beer on tap. A bar to not be missed in downtown Schenectady. Try the green tea shots!

My wife and I visited the Jay Street Pub while we were at a wedding in Schnectady. What a fantastic place. Mitch has a great place that feels comfortable and inviting. Certainly a place not to be missed. We will be back. Just wish that this bar was in our home area of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Cheers!!

First time here. Had a bad experience right before we got there. Felt welcome the moment we walked in, from security all the way to the bartender and other guests. Loved it. This might be our NEW spot!!! They had great drinks, too.
