Had dinner here for a girlfriend’s birthday, then came back a few weeks later for a date night. Both meals started with classic Hugo spritzes. They have a whole spritz bar and can make any refreshing drink you’d like! I love Hugo Spritzes, and they have one of the best recipes around! With my friends we sat inside at a long table. We shared the table with another group and although I thought it’d be weird, we were separated enough to where we barely noticed they were there after a few minutes! The next time I sat outside as I brought my dog, Ben! The patio was dog friendly, and about every waiter who passed by stopped to say hi and pet Ben! The weather was perfect so I’d highly recommend both inside and outside seating!

The food itself was absolutely divine. I love Italian, and so it’s difficult for me to swoon at a restaurant. But Jay Luigi made me fall head over heels! Everything was the perfect blend of authentic yet comforting. Meeting my expectations for what I was hoping a dish would taste like, and being absolutely delicious while doing it! Some restaurants try to put spins on classic dishes that end up taking them off the beaten path. But Jay Luigi takes Italian staples, matches authentic recipes, and stands out by doing them so so so well! I already can’t wait to go back again!

Parking is limited, but they have valet! It’s sometimes complimentary, sometimes paid, depending on the day of the week/season. But if you don carry cash they do take credit cards!

This is definitely a be back for me! Either for a girls night, a romantic dinner, or for happy hour! If you’re looking for good Italian definitely give Jay Luigi a try!

Great Italian food, if you are craving for authentic Italian food then this is the place. There sourdough bread is home cooked using yeast sourced from Italy. Butter with honey was the dip to definetly try. Parmesan chicken tenders were cooked to optimum level where you can feel them moist and tasty. We tried pasta in red sauce and the hint of garlic was enhancing the taste.

We went to celebrate our special day but a little gesture of small sweet could have enhanced the experience.

Jay Luigi is officially on my “must-return immediately” list.

My boyfriend and I came for brunch and shared the Hell’s Chicken and the Tiramisu French Toast and… I mean… holy crap WOW good. Like close-your-eyes, pause-the-conversation good.

Every bite was layered, intentional, and beautifully balanced. You could actually taste each spice and flavor individually, which is rare and impressive. Nothing muddled, nothing heavy. Just chef-level execution.

The drinks? Unreal. Their sangria is some of the best I’ve had in a long time, fresh, smooth, and dangerously drinkable. And the Tira Me Booze cocktail? Absolute brunch perfection. Fun, creative, and perfectly paired with the food.

And can we talk about the house-fermented sourdough? Because I’m still thinking about it. Truly to die for. If loving bread this much is wrong, I don’t want to be right.

On top of all that, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our server, Stone, was an absolute standout! Super cool, genuinely welcoming, and completely on point without ever being overbearing. That kind of service elevates the whole experience.

From food to cocktails to service, Jay Luigi absolutely nailed it. This is the kind of place you recommend enthusiastically and then immediately plan your next visit.

10/10. No notes. Can’t wait to come back.

The atmosphere is very upbeat and bright. Our meals were very good including the Cacio e Pepe and Rigatoni with vodka sauce. The only downside was the service. Our server did not stop by our table and we were constantly having to look for her. She also was not overly friendly. Overall we enjoyed our food in a nice environment so I would recommend Jay Luigi and we will be returning.

We stopped here for the first time while visiting the Tampa area. The staff was very welcoming, and we were seated quickly. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with the menu since it was our first visit. The food tasted good and the prices were reasonable. The place was packed and pretty loud, with music playing, so it was a bit hard to hear the server at times. Parking is available on the street, very limited and challenging, or in the plaza across the street, and they also offer valet parking. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Sorry, I don’t like this place. Good luck finding parking nearby, because you’ll have to parallel park by the street or pay extra for valet. This place has more of a Chic Atmosphere, and there were definitely younger people that came to eat here. The service was alright, although the consistency in dress code could be off.

However, despite all the things I didn’t like, the food was still pretty good. My favorite dish was the Brad tower with the olive oil & herb dip. It definitely has a rich, bold flavor to it. All Pastas are Al Dente style, and mine had some lemon sauce with shrimp in it. I liked the dish overall, but I didn’t like the bits of lemon thrown in there. Overall, it depends on who you are. For me, this place is unfortunately a miss.

As an Italian from Rome, I don’t say this lightly: their white focaccia bread is incredibly authentic and brought me straight back home. The food overall is absolutely incredible-fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care, all at very fair prices.
It was amazing to talk with Chef John and learn that their products come directly from Rome.
Manager David was extremely helpful and welcoming. I also got to speak to waiter Yus , who told me he lived in Brescia for 15 years, and being able to speak Italian with him was such a treat.
If you are looking for truly authentic Italian flavor, this is absolutely the place. The whole experience made my day, this place feels like home.

We enjoyed the bread with all the condiment options. The pasta with seafood was great. French toast. Everything was great except the fried chicken. If you comes from a household where their is a heavy emphasis on flavor then that is why I am stating there is flavor to the chicken other than the breading. When I was cutting into the chicken it was plain and white, seasoning did not penetrate past the breading when it was fried. To people who do not come from a household with a heavy emphasis on flavor than you may say it tasted amazing. I had to use the sauce that came with the hell’s chicken to eat it. Loved the birthday cake towards the end. Some restaurants just say happy birthday and that’s it. This location acknowledged the recipient and continued to e sure everyone including the birthday girl was taken care for. Will come back. Thank you.

Came highly recommended by a friend, I will say the food was great and freshly made but the quantity did not match the cost, nearly $20+ for pasta (meat additions are 8$ extra). I understand the premium is for the ambience and the experience but honestly it just felt like any other restaurant of this type in the area. Their outdoor seating was pretty cool.

Special mention for their desserts the tiramisu and the gelato were extremely delicious.

In all a great spot to hangout and get some good fresh food.

The ambience was very nice and my server was super kind and very knowledgeable. The daily bread with all three dips was delicious and vodka pasta was super fresh. My server was also very helpful with identifying which foods would impact my allergies.
