I ordered ragada chat, uttapam and dosa along with tea. All were good quality however dosa could be little better.
The staff and service were good. The vibe was good as well.
Good value for money.
We ordered a variety of dishes and every single one hit the mark. The flavors were rich, balanced, and clearly made with care. The dal makhani was so good that after we finished eating, we literally ordered more roti just to make sure we didn’t leave a single drop behind. That says everything.
You can really feel the pride they take in both the food and the experience. Authentic, comforting vegetarian Indian food done right. We’ll absolutely be back, and this is now a regular stop for us. Highly recommend.
The Dahi Puri and Pani Puri were beautifully presented and tasted great too — refreshing, flavorful, and served with good attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone who loves chaats.
The Gujarati Thali had a nice variety and authentic flavors, but the only thing that could be improved was the puri, which was a bit too oily. Apart from that, everything else in the thali was satisfying and tasty.
Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy Gujarati food with good presentation and value. We’ll definitely visit again, especially for the Vada P

The restaurant immediately stands out with its tasteful wall décor, reflecting Indian elegance and cultural history. Seating is comfortable, and like most places in Florida, parking was easy and hassle-free, which is always a plus.
We started with Pani Puri (Tokri style), served with 24 puris—great for sharing and a fun way to kick off the meal. Along with that, we ordered Indian-style pizza, cheese vada pav, and veg momos.
The pizza was a big hit with our 8-year-old, loaded with cheese and veggies. The veg momos were very good, nicely cooked with great flavor. However, the cheese vada pav was a bit disappointing—the excessive cheese overpowered the authentic Mumbai-style vada pav taste. I would have preferred the classic version without the heavy cheese.
We also ordered Schezwan Maggi and Veg Schezwan Hakka Noodles, both of which were spot on with the spice level and flavor. Even though we didn’t have much appetite left, we still managed to finish everything—which says a lot about the food.
If you’re a paan lover, this is definitely a place where you should try one.
Unfortunately, the experience took a downturn with the masala chai. It was extremely watery and lacked flavor—honestly, it didn’t taste like chai at all. That was the one major letdown and slightly spoiled an otherwise enjoyable meal.
Overall, we had a nice family dinner enjoying Indian snacks. Despite the chai disappointment, this place is definitely worth trying, especially for pure vegetarians and anyone craving authentic Indian street food around Tampa.
Rest of the food was average. Can skip.
A special shoutout to Mahesh Bhai, the owner, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. He personally guided us on what to try based on our tastes, making the experience even more memorable. His hospitality truly sets this place apart.
If you’re in Tampa and craving great Indian street food with heart and authenticity, Jai Bhavani is a must-visit!
