Our friends got an onion ring tower and a Philly cheesesteak and a patty melt. My husband got an All America (chili dog) and I got a cheeseburger. Oh and we both got loaded fries

We decided to try this place since we were in town. We were quickly sat. The atmosphere was really cool in an old 19th century storefront. They had a big selection of craft beer on draft. The burger selection was bigger! We started with chips and house-made salsa, which was good. My wife got a cheese burger. I got the Korean burger. The patties were handmade. I’d highly recommend it if you love a good burger.

I’ve been to Jaxx’s a couple times now, and I can tell you that, although a bit small, the restaurant is staffed by very friendly people and the food is very good! I won’t get into details, but their menu also features funny and interesting names to their meals, and the range of choices is pleasantly large, for a “burger joint”. I would highly recommend if you have a lunch break, or are looking for something new for lunch or dinner, to give them a shot. The burgers are nicely sized and both times I visited and ordered fries, I received a large amount to accompany my burger, so come hungry, and try to leave room for desert and a cocktail. Since the restaurant is right off the city square, there is usually good parking within short walking distance of the restaurant, as well as other nice shops, a cigar bar, and casual other dining, drinking and shopping experiences. Now, a word of caution: this is a good place, but not exactly built to handle large groups. I was in a group of about 12 people, and because of this, it did take a bit of time to get everyone served, but I am NOT mad about this in any way, and my meal arrived very hot and delicious. I do look forward to my next visit!

My husband and I were extremely disappointed with this restaurant. We first walked in and were barely acknowledged by the staff and were lazily brought to our table. While waiting for our food, we observed the staff sitting in the back on a freezer and playing on their phones while customers weren’t being tended to. There was trash on the floors that could have been being picked up. They also were rough housing while we still waiting for our food. The food was below mediocre. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers. You’re a burger restaurant, how can you get it wrong, right? No flavor. Bland and overall didn’t taste right. The fries were well seasoned, but you could tell they were freezer burned and old. Staff didn’t refill either one of our drinks as well. Very disappointing experience.

Awesome place to grab a burger and onion rings! The food was excellent and tasted great. We shared the onion ring appetizer and it was huge. The bacon cheeseburger was amazing. So many choices but I went old fashioned with my favorite burger. The decor is pretty cool and a great location right off the main street square. Our server took great care of us. She knew the menu well and made several good suggestions. We will definitely be back!
