Super solid industry joint. Everybody seems to know each other in lots of shop talk about restaurants and bars. Our kinda place. Service can be amazing, or just OK, and I think some of that depends on if you are a regular or not. Overall, it appears they really tried to provide good service though. Fantastic prices and good drinks for such a sweet location downtown. Highly recommended and my guess is, the more you come, the better your experiences will be.

The food was so good. My girlfriend and I drank a little much at a nearby bar, and came here because it was one of the only places open still serving food. The chicken tenders and fries were amazing. Better than they should have been at 11 pm, really. The chicken was tender and juicy. The bartender was very hospitable, and we were able to sober up. My girlfriend did order a Crown and Ginger, but that was just the night cap to a wonderful evening in downtown Sandusky.

We walked past this place on our way to dinner. Some of the staff was outside and exchanged pleasantries. After having dinner, somewhere else, Jaxbar came to mind. I’m happy we ventured in. The group of patrons were enjoyable to be around and the service was great! Prices were very fair.

I really enjoyed this little bar. It was clean, quaint and just the right size. The bartenders were great as were the drinks we ordered. Being a very small bar, it we super easy to start up a conversation with other patrons. The only negative was how loud it got as more people came in but that it true in most bars I believe. I am looking forward to my next visit.

A lot of drunks that push people around. The bar staff has no regard for the safety for the patrons. I would 100% avoid this bar if you’re visiting the area. They love to serve drunks that are aggressive.

Been here a couple of times, it’s a cozy place. Didn’t order off the menu because there was a lonely bartender in a full bar. But he was as fast as he could be! A good spot with a decent selection of spirits.
