New thin crust casual pizza spot in LIC! Since it opened this week (March 2026), there was a lot of buzz, curiosity, and popularity! Slices range from $3.75 to $5.45 USD.
The margarita didn’t have any basil, Jax Special barely had Parmesan cheese, and Baby Luka had two very concentrated burrata chunks, but they were still tasty.
They have one small row of bar stool seating for around eight people, and a standing section outside for you to eat. I found that most customers got their pizza to go.
They need a bigger recycling bin because the public garbage can outside was overflowing.

I would give this zero stars if I could. My experience here was a series of bizarre “can’t do that” excuses and blatant dishonest and rude staff.
My wife tried to call in an order for a whole pie for pickup. They refused, claiming they don’t do that, even though their own website explicitly lists whole-pie pickup as an option.
So I went in person to order and pick up. I asked for a Margherita with pepperoni on half. The staff told me they “can’t do that” and said if I wanted a half-topping pizza, I would have to buy individual slices and assemble it to make a full pie. I’ve never been to a pizza place that refuses to put toppings on half a pizza.
I finally just ordered a standard Margherita. They told me 15 minutes, but it was ready in 5. When I asked if it was fresh, they swore it “just came out of the oven.” It wasn’t even lukewarm. When we opened the box, it was obvious what happened: they took old, leftover individual slices and shoved them together to look like a whole pie.
To top it off, they call it a “Margherita,” but it’s just a basic, low-quality plain cheese slice. No fresh mozzarella, no basil just $1-slice quality at a premium price.
My wife is pregnant, so we were specifically looking for a hot, fresh meal. Instead, we got cold, recycled slices and the rudest service I’ve encountered in a long time. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

The JAX pizza was really Awesome with a very unique taste. Also tried their pepperoni, thin crust, well balanced taste. Delicious. Excellent service, very helpful and proactive. A family feel. Will definitely come back. Thank you JAX pizza Joint.

Walked by Jax the day after they opened and stopped in for a slice and hero. Pizza was amazing, definitely recommend the vodka and white slice with lemon. Also the philly cheesesteak was outstanding. Must try in LIC
