Very cool spot in downtown San Marcos. Relaxing environment. Menu full of great options! Sweet potato fries and burger were totally awesome! Gonna try the wings on next visit! The best thing about the area is that you can eat a lot and walk it off due to the large variety of good shops local to the town

I have been searching for this burger for a long time, and I didn’t expect to find it at a chain restaurant. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with Swiss cheese, and it was cooked perfectly. It was stacked with fresh veggies and served on a delicious, buttered, toasted bun—I’m not a fan of cold buns.
The atmosphere of this place is fantastic; it definitely doesn’t feel like a typical chain restaurant. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The cashier assisted us with our order; when my friend was deciding on a bacon burger with add-ons, she recommended a Baja burger for a better deal. I really appreciate when staff members make money-saving suggestions like that—it shows they care and encourages customers to return.
Even though I don’t live in San Marcos, you can bet I will be driving to this place for that burger. I need to try the rest of the menu and one of those shakes. My friend ordered one, but I didn’t get a chance to try it; it looked great and was fully loaded with Oreos. If you’re in the area and craving a burger, this is the place to go!

The food here is decent and the portions are a solid size, but I’m still trying to wrap my head around the bill.
The burgers are “pretty good,” they are obviously a bowling alley style burger. If that is what you are after the bowling alley is better and way cheaper. The fries were meh definitely not the best in town.
We ordered two small bacon cheeseburger meals and one single mushroom Swiss (no extras, no doubles) and the total was $58. Nearly $60 for three burgers and two sides is a massive stretch for the quality you’re getting.
Bottom Line: Let’s be real this isn’t fine ding just a burger joint. If you don’t mind overpaying for a standard burger, it’s a safe bet, and they are open late. But if you’re looking for value or a “destination” burger, there are much better (and cheaper) spots nearby.

The burger was enormous — easily one of the biggest I’ve ever had — and each bite was packed with juicy, seasoned beef cooked to perfection. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together, and the toppings were fresh and piled high. Melted cheese oozed over the sides, and the crispy bacon added a smoky crunch that tied it all together.

Food was amazing. Cooked good & seasoned perfectly. I’m a 6’3 black man, full of tattoos so I can see how my outward appearance could make someone feel some type of way, I guess, but when I came in the lady with the shaved head greeted us moderately. Kind of dry but she did her job. So me and my girlfriend sat down, & we noticed that some of the customers just stared. Weird right? The lady gave us our food & we chowed down. Food was excellent. While eating, the guys behind the counter kept staring at me, so I stared back. Not in a defensive way but as to think “why are yall staring? And what’s going on with my food”. Call it anxiety or PTSD but now all my senses are heightened. My girlfriend goes to refill the sodas in our cups, and the cook (guy with bandana on head and blue eyes) comes around & looks at me. I think “finally he’s going to ask how good the food was”. Nope. Just walks by and stares & I stare back. The most weirdest food experience I’ve been in because the food was perfect. Just wished the customer service matched.

We went for dinner. You pay at the counter and food is delivered to your table. Everything was so fresh & very tasty. Highly recommend the burger and fries. . Also, sweet potato fries were very good.
