excited to try jaws and it was so good! clean modern interior with tables to dine in. there are different flavors for the topokki, I got the cheese topping and it was delicious! gotta try the rose next time, heard it’s creamy! there are slushies too which are perfectly sweet and balance the meal nicely! both flavors we tried were delicious, especially on a warm sunny day. there’s a diy ramen station that was really popular to try. the cheese balls were chewy and delicious, eat fresh for the cheese pull!! and The bulgogi rice bowl was delicious with generous portions. Service was really prompt and nice, definitely will be back!!

It had been quite some time since we last enjoyed truly well-made tteokbokki, and as longtime enthusiasts of the dish—having explored countless spots from Downtown Los Angeles and beyond—we approached this visit with both experience and expectation. I can confidently say this was among the very best we’ve had.

The Jaws Topokki delivered exactly what the dish should: balanced heat, depth of flavor, and that essential chewy texture that defines it at its best. Each bite felt thoughtfully prepared rather than rushed or overly commercialized.

The kimbap was equally impressive, offering a satisfying variety of fillings and a clean, well-balanced flavor profile. It complemented the boldness of the tteokbokki beautifully.

The food was so exceptional that we completely lost ourselves in the moment and forgot to take photos. By the time we realized, the plates had been wiped clean—every last bite gone. I almost feel apologetic for not being able to share proper photos of the dishes, but perhaps that in itself speaks volumes about just how memorable the meal truly was.

Equally noteworthy was the service. The staff were clearly well-trained—attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming—creating an atmosphere that made the entire dining experience feel comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish.
For anyone craving authentic, properly executed tteokbokki, this is a destination worth seeking out.

I’m a huge tteokbokki lover, and Jaws Tteokbokki is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Even though I can’t handle spicy food well, I still went for the regular spicy — had to keep my pride alive.

My friend and I ordered the Friend Set, and the portions were way bigger than we expected. We couldn’t even finish everything. The gimbap looked almost too pretty to eat, and it tasted just as good as it looked. They were also running a promotion and gave us free fried chicken, which was super crispy and really delicious.

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable.

If you love tteokbokki, you definitely need to stop by — and make sure you try the sikhye slush. It’s the perfect finishing touch!

Jaws Topokki finally opened in Chino Hills, and we’re so happy we no longer have to drive to further cities!

We ordered two “Friends Sets,” chicken, plus Bareun Gimbap (their signature) and Tuna Gimbap. The portions were generous–perfect for five adults and a few kids to share. Everything tasted great and felt fresh.
Since it’s newly opened, the restaurant is very clean with a neat, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was also super friendly; she even explained their new slush options. Highly recommend the shikhye (rice) slush–it pairs perfectly with the spicy topokki!

Overall, it’s an excellent spot for group takeout. Both adults and kids loved the food, and we’ll definitely be coming back and try dine in for next time!!!

Tried the DIY ramen and gimbap at Jaws Tteokbokki and loved it.
The ramen is customizable, flavorful, and gives real Korean street-remember vibes.
The gimbap is fresh and perfect for dipping into the ramen.

Best part? Very affordable prices for the quality and portions.
If you want to experience authentic K-food, this place is definitely worth a try!

Finally!! A topokki place in Chino Hills! I was so excited to try to this spot because topokki and kimbap are two of my favorite things to eat. They had a variety of topokki and kimbap. They even had soondae. My husband and I decided to get the Duo Set which comes with topokki and deep fried items. We also got the tuna gimbap. The deep fried set came with sweet potato, calamari, shrimp, dumpling, seaweed roll. For dipping sauce we got the wasabi mayo which was really good. The tteok was nice and chewy and we ended up getting mild which was the perfect spice level for us. I liked that they added perilla leaf in their tuna gimbap. So so good! Portion size was good. We shared the set and had some topokki left over to take home. Service was great as well. The person taking my order was very sweet and friendly. The order came out super fast. I’ll definitely be back to try their other items!

The chicken is light, savory, and nicely crispy.
It has a slight spicy kick as well.

Even though it’s not a dedicated chicken specialist place, the taste was really excellent.

If you’re looking for simple, easy-to-eat finger food, I highly recommend it.

There was a separate sauce provided, but I didn’t get to try it this time.

I’m planning to try it on my next visit.

The food is fresh, and unlike typical gimbap, it contains much more filling than rice
.
The staff are also very friendly, and the store atmosphere is beautiful, with a great combination of red and white.

Next time, I plan to try a different menu item.
