I personally loved their pastrami and tuna sandwich. But to be honest they really have good varieties of sandwiches with fresh ingredients. I also liked their freshly made potato chips. It was a pleasure meeting the owner and generously offered us samplers.

For starters I am glad we have a local sandwich shop in the Huntington area. I had the chicken salad sandwich and I will say I’ve had better. A pro to this sandwich is that it tasted fresh. A con was that there was not too much flavor to it- maybe it was missing a tad bit of salt. You can taste the mayonnaise too much in this sandwich. The establishment is very clean so that was a plus. I will definitely be by again since you can never go wrong with a sandwich for lunch. Hoping they can add some secret sauce to these sandwiches to make it tastier and provide some uniqueness to their sandwiches.

This review is from my visit on May 21, 2025. I had the salmon panini sandwich which was surprisingly delicious. The smoothie was delicious as well. Great service, clean and modern store, and lots of parking. The owner was very polite and professional.

I just dined at JAWA . and had a fantastic experience. The sweet potato soup was absolutely delicious—creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. The Pastrami Queen was also a standout, with its flavorful and tender filling.
The owner, was incredibly welcoming and made the visit even more enjoyable. He generously offered samples and took the time to explain more about the food he serves, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more special.
The warm atmosphere and excellent service made for a perfect meal. Highly recommend this spot for anyone in the area!

The food here is so good! I love asking for a chicken caesar wrap. They are so gracious and make it despite it not technically being on the menu. Customer service and atmosphere are great.

I have seen this every night when I go to the gym next-door and I said that I was going to walk in and try their food not only was the atmosphere beautiful the The experience from the owner Sean was in today was amazing! We had a friendly chat about the area and We were chitchatting he gave me some free samples of the meat. The brisket was beef. It was tender. It was so good. That chicken was so fresh and the lemonades were awesome. Not overly sweet just Enough. I ordered a crabcake sandwich It was so tasty. I definitely will come back for it. I also ordered a salad with the fresh chicken again. I will be back for the experience in the overall of the food. Thank you, Sean for bringing this to us. Your new customer Mellissa.

I recently dined at this lovely restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the atmosphere and hospitality. The staff, including both the server and the cashier, were courteous and attentive. I ordered the Modern BLT sandwich and a hibiscus lemonade. Both were delicious, with the lemonade having a wonderfully sour taste that I truly enjoyed. The sandwich, with its bacon, lettuce, green tomato, and pesto, had a fantastic flavor. I highly recommend trying it!

FINALLY! Just what this area needed!
Jawa is the casual sandwich place I’ve been hoping for in this area. There’s so many rundown restaurants with mid service, that it’s become discouraging for me to want to eat locally. Forget about driving all the way to Old Town for solid good sandwich.
This Jawa location is updated and looks awesome inside. The fresh menu options and ingredients, and the impeccable customer service by the owner, Shawn, and his crew, are noteworthy. I feel like I’m visiting a friend whenever I go in.
I tried the Chipotle Chicken Panini a few days ago and it was love at first bite. I knew I just HAD to go back and try the Pastrami Queen (pictured). The cool pickled onions on both sandwiches were an excellent touch to the crispy sandwiches. The crunchy fries did not hold back either.
The drinks all compliment the food very well, as they’re made on-site and refreshing for these hot summer days. Note: Try the strawberry lemonade, thank me later.
Great experiences overall, I’ll have to keep coming until I try everything on the menu!

I had just finished a workout at the planet fitness next door, and I felt a bit hungry I wanted to eat something light and so I saw this sub and pizza place but it looked like it had too much grease and isn’t healthy. So I walked by the other restaurant which happened to be “JAWA” I entered and was curious on what they served, I was greeted by a kind man with a warm greeting. He welcomed me in and I took a look at the menu. After skimming the menu I saw a few items that I wanted to try. The first item I saw that shouted out to me was the “Salmon Panini”. So I went ahead and asked for that sandwich. It was about $16 for the sandwich. When I received the food it was on a wood tray with a sheet of thin paper for food of course, Or it could be for anything. Anyway when I received the food and sat down, I then went ahead and took a bite. let me tell you it was so delicious, warm, and juicy. Loved it! Loved it so much that I ordered another 3 sandwiches for my family to try. My mom, dad and friend tried it and they ate it all and quickly. That’s when you know I’m not the only one that thinks it’s delicious. Try it and comment below on what you got and how you liked it. Also try this place out! If you go to planet fitness then it’s a win win for you, a place to replenish what you burned and in the most fresh healthy way possible.
