We absolutely adore Javi’s, and we are regulars. This is one of the gems in this area for sure. You can’t go wrong with the authentic tacos – best around. I recommend the steak, pastor, and chorizo. The service is excellent, and we enjoy sitting on the patio. They sometimes have live music as well!

Authentic food that tasted delicious. The service was amazing. The portions were generous. The price was average for today’s market. The atmosphere was genuine feeling. I definitely will return and try something new.

We have always lived nearby and we just now tried. Everything was great! The only thing that makes me not want to come back is the tax on the alcohol. We got 3 jumbo margs and one regular and we shared a regular fajita. It was 65$!!!! We asked for a pitcher twice.. but got jumbos which we didn’t make a big deal of. We were going to tip 20$ but we couldn’t bring ourselves to it. I wanted to come back we can’t pay tht everytime. Everything else was A1. Wish the alcohol tax wasn’t so much.

I am picky when it comes to good Mexican food. I am sooo excited to report that the food was great!!! The guacamole was delicious. The steak tacos were seasoned perfectly. My husband got the Dickson special and was very happy with it. The salsa had just the right amount of heat. Please try them out so we can keep great Mexican food on our side of town.

My first time here. I always start with tacos at any new Mexican I try as it sets the tone for how everything else will be. I ordered 2 asada and 2 carnitas. The asada was mediocre at best and the carnitas, this is where it really went down hill. The first one was mostly fat but I went for it anyway. Then I opened the second one to see the ratio of fat to meat and it only had about a teaspoon worth of “meat” and mostly consisted of fat. None of it was fried up the way it was supposed to be and I should have known better when it took less than 5 minutes for our order to come out. I didn’t bother to eat the second one as I was disgusted and now concerned about getting food poisoning. Hoping I get through it. I will post again if I get stuck in the bathroom from this.

This place was nice! Service was great. On the smaller side but it’s a small town. Food was so good I finished the whole plate in under 10 mins . My bf took me and we both had the 2 tacos (shredded chicken) w rice and beans . Would have gave 5 star but they didn’t have tequila or margs which was a little disappointing ugh

Good food and a live band on a Friday night couldn’t have made a better choice for dinner it’s a small restaurant but the people make it wonderful to enjoy a good meal. ( the only thing I have to say is they dont serve Margaritas but they do have beer)

To start the El Pastor taco, top three I have ever had. Coming from CA and having had them from almost coast to coast, these are some of the best I have ever had. The hot salsa was on point as well. There was not a dingle thing bad I could say about this place.

Would recommend!
Quick response from waitress when we sat down, chips were fresh. My fiancé is from El Paso, TX and he was impressed with everything. Hot sauce was a liiiiiittle too spicy for me but tasty enough for me to push through the pain.
If you’re not used to some HEAT you can and should request for them to take it easy or not add the hot sauce to your food lol.
