My Argentine partner has approved these empanadas- after many failed attempts to fulfill that empanada craving in the Bay. I picked up a batch of fresh and warm empanadas for a party and they were such a hit! Plus we got the Choripan sandwich and it was so delicious and flavorful, full of grilled onions and peppers.
The staff here were so warm and welcoming and I could tell they take pride in their food. We will definitely be back, and likely stocking our freezer with their frozen empanadas!
Great drink options too – beer, wine, soft drinks, mate, dulce de leche coffee!

Empanadas were tasty! The Pavo and champiñone were our favs. The Bestia was good too. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Come hungry, leave satisfied!

Just ordered empanadas from here today and I have to say they’re some of the best I’ve ever had! We’ve been trying specifically a beef empanada at various restaurants and this is definitely the favorite so far.
We also had the breakfast chorizo (super full of chorizo, cheese and egg), chard and cheese and two dessert dulce de leche ones, all delicious! The chimichurri as well. They have a rare perfect ratio of crust to filling (a lot of empanadas for me have too much crust) and the crust itself has a great texture. I ordered these for pickup and they were still warm when I brought them home.
The woman who gave me my order was super friendly, and although I didn’t stay the atmosphere seemed nice with a nice outdoor area. I will definitely be back!

Javi’s is a hidden gem. Stop what you’re doing and go there immediately!! The empanadas and chimichuri sauce are the best and to top it off Carolina is a sweetheart!!! I had such a great time eating and enjoying my yummy food, having a beer and an iced coffee. I got a chance to meet Javi too and he was so cool and kind. I could.hear the passion in his voice, he loves what he does and he even hooked me up with a delicious housemade Argentinian cookie that I highly recommend you also get. I’ll be back soon!

Super friendly staff! Great coffee. Tons of empanada options, including vegetarian and vegan! Parking can be tricky. But their outdoor seating is super cute and the whole place has a great vibe. Next time I go back I’m going to buy the whole coffee beans which are from all over South America: Argentina, Colombia & Guatemala. Love this sweet spot. Also: very quick service!

Javi’s Cooking is an absolute gem. The empanadas are hot, crispy in all the right places, and delicious is every bite. The steak milanesa is enough for lunch, dinner, and a snack tomorrow! The bread is fresh but crispy, the lettuce and tomatoes and the perfect proportion and the way the cheese melts and pulls is an experience. The steak is perfectly cooked with the exact amount of breading and seasoning. The service was impeccable and I can’t wait to be not full so I can eat here again!

An amazing staff. These are thoughtfully made. The imprint of the company name on one side and an imprint of the contents on the other is a fabulous touch. They offer vegan options too! Their chimachuri sauce delicious! We ordered these for a celebration and it was a perfect treat for all.
