I think they have new owners or maybe the realized $13-$15 burritos won’t work. Whatever they did after re opening has literally returned this place to glory! Literal 10/10 joint now. I used to go to Javier’s weekly before 2020 then they had a fall off of burrito size, flavor, and inflation of price. Now that this place is revitalized I go here about 2-3 times a week because the price is great, the food is delicious, the portions are fantastic, the staff is kind, and their sauce bar is elite. I think Javier’s is one of the best restaurants around hands down Vancouver top 3. If the owner is reading this bring back $7-8 carne asada and chicken burritos, I guarantee if you run a YouTube or IG add for a week or two you’ll increase revenue by 30% at least. Price other restaurants out and take business because I want Javier’s open forever.

Had to give this place a try after I saw it reopened. The interior is a night and day difference from what it was before. Super clean, amazing lighting, kitchen looks organized, overall a great improvement. The food was good, nothing that makes it stand out. It’s classic Mexican fast food fare, at fair prices and good portions. We tried the lengua burrito, lengua tacos, and adobada sopes. The burritos are a great deal and the lengua was well cooked. As for the adobada, the first bite I took had a giant chunk of bone in it. It happens, it’s meat after all, but as I continued eating, I bit into bone chunks 2 more times! Keep in mind that a sope is a bit smaller than their tacos. 3 chunks of bone in about half a sope was enough for me to throw it out instead.

Bean and cheese burrito was good, the cheese was perfectly melted. Carnitas (taco) was very fatty and served in chunks instead of shredded. Chips had no salt and the guacamole is pretty basic. We prefer Much as Gracias.

We ordered two bowl of menudo! Unfortunately we couldn’t eat them because they were so salty.
We talked the cashier and she just made a shame smile .

Missing rolled tacos from order. Sat on hold for over 10 minutes to rectify the situation. I finally hung up, they didn’t seem like they wanted to correct the problem. Food isn’t cheap people.

Just found this place today. Ordered a El Pastor burrito and a Lengua taco. The taco was delicious, and big! I ended up taking my burrito with me. The place is very clean, and the staff very friendly! They have a great salsa bar too! Stopped in again and had the Pozole! Soooo good!

Long long lonnnnng wait but the food was sure delicious. Good luck ordering or asking for recommendations from the cashier if you do not speak Spanish (I gave up and asked for the daily special with carne asada). This restaurant could thrive in Clark country if they actually cared more about their customers who are not Hispanic, but they seem to gain enough business from the Latino community that they could care less about other ethnicities who come in for the first time.
Would I recommend this place, tough call!? Maybe google translate and overseeing their menu in advance would help?

Had a wet burrito & a torta. Both were larger than expected and tasted great! The place was clean, open and the service was quick with the food was delivered right to our table. The self-service salsa and condiments bar is a real plus.
My only minus (a very minor one) is the sauces weren’t labeled for heat, etc. They had tables for 2 & 6 and booths for 4.

Every time I come to Javier’s, I get greeted with a great attitude and warm smile all staff is amazing! Never gotten a rude employee. They are generous with salsa and extras! And all the food is authentic. Over all amazing. Other location can be worked on but this location is a 10/10
