There is so much here, I’m glad we looked at a menu rather than just looking on the offerings on the wall, The torta my date had was huge. I got a sandwich that came with a side of pasta everything, and was excellent. She got a horchata and I had a latte and everything not only looked fantastic it tasted fantastic. The price was right also. I just don’t like Illinois taxes. I wanted to try so many more things but we were pressed for time. Very happy man and woman whom I think owns the place I didn’t ask. Service was extremely fast some other people had come in I didn’t hear everything they said but they were repeat customers and were complimenting the last order they had. They had quite a few desserts I wanted to try but I can’t have too much at one time

This place is absolutely beautiful and delicious! My friend and I visited, and we’ll definitely be coming back. The staff is incredibly sweet and attentive. We tried the cajeta and chocolate crepes, as well as a horchata latte and a pumpkin spice latte. They were all amazing!

I highly recommend the chocolate and strawberry cake, which were not only delicious but also very visually appealing. However, the true test of a good cake lies in its taste. Thank you for creating a truly memorable cake. The birthday person enjoyed it immensely, and the cake was perfect.

Java 12 is such a hidden gem in Berwyn, right by Roosevelt and Highland! It’s a family-owned café that’s not only super cute inside but also very kid-friendly, which makes it a big win for us. My kids absolutely love coming here—the waffles are their favorite, and the milkshakes and frappes are always a hit. Everything is delicious and made just right, not overly sweet. It’s the perfect spot for families to enjoy a treat together. Highly recommend this place—we’ll definitely be back often!

Java 12 is a cozy gem on Roosevelt Rd! From coffee to snacks, cakes, cookies, sandwiches, crepes, waffles, ice cream – they prove the saying “Good things come in small packages!” Enjoyed an egg & cheese breakfast sandwich & mocha this morning amid Christmas music and decorations.

So happy to have a coffee shop nearby, finally! Super cute inside and so far really loving the food. I had the ham torta with the Chipotle mayo and absolutely delightful. My son did enjoy the BLT but did say it was a little on the dry side. The chia lemonade was great, and we also did some ice cream and that was a hit too. I think they will only get better as they continue, for now they do run a little slow when overwhelmed (completely normal for new cafes) but once the dust settles in sure they will be phenomenal. This is exactly what the area needed and hope everybody in the neighborhood comes and supports.

Delicious! The portion was huge. I ordered the Hawaiian Torta with an iced latte made with oat milk, and both were absolutely delicious. The service is excellent, the place is beautiful, and the prices are very affordable. 100% recommended!

My 2nd time here, both times I was warmly welcomed and received exceptional service. Latte was delicious and so was my BLT that was made fresh. A much needed addition to this strip of Roosevelt, I highly recommend.

Ordered matcha and it was delicious and so was the food however, the reason why I was put off was because the lady who just spoke Spanish made a rude comment that made me feel uncomfortable. As a Mexican -American Latina trying to support small businesses, this was my first time coming here, the lady worker with the face mask on and I were talking in Spanish, she asks me where I’m from and I tell her my roots are from Aguascalientes, she says “oh your Spanish is really bad” and I felt so bad about myself because I think it’s rude to ask someone where they’re from and then proceed to make a rude comment. I just responded to her and said “oh…” like sorry?? Who the hell makes that kind of comment. Very disappointing coming from your own people. Teach employees to be respectful to their customers regardless of how well they speak Spanish. Why are we still discouraging and bullying other latinos for their Spanish? At least I was speaking it and trying the best of my ability. Sheesh.
