JAVA STOP is a family-oriented coffee shop with so much more. We aim to make any drink no matter how interesting or unique. I’m addition to endless drink possibilities, I am excited to be bringing the bubble waffle experience to good ol’ Tatum, NM. Just a fun new way to eat a little bit of greatness and add a little spunk to this town that I have come to absolutely love. I am intrigued to see the creations that folks will can come up with, and enjoy. With a vision for continuous growth for our town, we plan to expand hours and introduce an evening menu after our first quarter. Java Stop isn’t just a business—it’s a passion project designed to bring unique variety of flavors and community connection to the table. Come visit and check us out.

Reviews
Java Stop is the best! The customer service is always amazing, and the shop has such a welcoming vibe. Their drinks and waffle ice cream are absolutely delicious! You can feel the creativity and good energy everywhere from the beautiful artwork inside to the eye-catching details outside. Definitely one of my favorite spots!
The Atmosphere
The coffee shop is tucked inside the travel stop, offering a surprisingly cozy and clean oasis from the road. Whether you need a caffeine jolt to get through the next stretch of highway or a quiet moment to stretch your legs, the vibe here is welcoming and efficient.
The Star of the Show: Alicia
What truly sets this place apart isn’t just the espresso—it’s the owner, Alicia. She is absolutely amazing. You can tell she pours her heart into the business; she greets regulars and newcomers alike with genuine warmth and high energy. In an industry where service can sometimes feel transactional, Alicia makes you feel like a guest in her own home. Her passion for the community and her customers is palpable.
The Menu
* Coffee: Rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection. Their specialty lattes are a must-try.
* Service: Fast enough for those on a schedule, but friendly enough for those who aren’t.
* Variety: From classic drips to creative seasonal flavors, there’s something for every palate.
Bottom Line: If you’re driving through the area, the Java Stop is a mandatory pit stop. Stop for the coffee, but stay to say hi to Alicia—she’s the real reason this place shines.
