Stopped by for a chai latte. Greeted by a seemingly jaded employee. Seriously disappointed that my chai didn’t taste like chai at all, it tasted like sweetened low fat milk…yuck! Tried to like it but ended up dumping it out. Will not be back.

I’m pretty picky about my coffee places but I LOVE Java rock. So much so that I haven’t even tried the other coffee place down the street yet!
Granted I don’t go there for coffee to be honest… There coffee is fine (I have tried it) but I’ve been burnt out on coffee now in general for awhile. Instead, I get their red bull smoothies which is sooo good!!!
I also go there for the food! Good easy, decent, and fairly priced lunch option!
They actually have fairly Hearty breakfast burritos with German and Cajun sausage options even.. mm. It has like mashed potatoes instead of hasbrowns though which is new to me! I wouldn’t have thought it to be good but it really is pretty tasty, I definitely don’t mind.
The danishes are AMAZING when warmed up.
And their parfaits are made from very fresh ingredients. Made similar to other parfaits but somehow waaay better. I think the yogurt might even be Tillamook yogurt? And the berries are perfect.
Also, the consistency is there!!! I hate it when you go somewhere and what they make is always different. It’s the same few gals and they’re also great and have a great memory haha

Worst experience and worthy enough for me to speak up. If I were the owner I would want to know. I tried calling twice to share it verbally rather than publicly but no option to leave a VM. So I’m forced to share this with the world, in hopes that the owner receives the message. On 9/4 We stopped by to grab us a coffee and a muffin for my grandson since he was hungry and we wouldn’t be home for 20 more minutes. The gal was pleasant but the guy sitting behind her had an angry look on his face. It was odd but it only turned uncomfortable when He handed me the muffin with a scowl look on his face. He made it very clear he didn’t want to be there let alone help a customer. The muffin happened to be frozen so I reluctantly asked if he could please warm it and he snatched the muffin like I was putting him out with a disgusted look on his face. He handed it back to me and it was now scorching hot. My 3 yr old grandson wasn’t happy but he handled it like a champ, waiting patiently for it to be edible. I would not want this kind of atmosphere for my customers. He was less than professional and down right rude. This behavior is a gross disrespect to the owner. Both coffees were disgusting and tasted like warm milk. She needs more coaching. Needless to say, I did not tip and I will never return. I use to go there periodically when driving from Sisters to Madras and I use to love it. Now I will go across the street.

Stopped in for first time this morning for an Almond joy mocha and breakfast burrito . The burrito was so so I have had better at other coffee places and the coffee OMG straight espresso no flavoring and so strong I couldn’t drink till I got home and added flavoring and milk. I only went because they were close. I won’t be back. I am sick because it was strong and gross.

Went for coffee and breakfast this morning and they were wicked rude. Gave us iced coffee instead of hot and instead of nicely saying ok I’ll get you a hot one, they said “well I asked you if you wanted it iced” which we just didn’t hear them. Save your money and go somewhere that has a better vibe.

This place is delicious:) Biscuits and Gravy are perfect, and the breakfast burritos were good as well. They have a nice variety of things and the food isn’t pre-made and reheated like others. The mocha coffee is a 10/10. It’s pretty cheap too, Love this place:) Great Food!

Great roadside coffee spot. The gal working was super nice. Coffee was great. Food could have been hotter but it still tasted great. Pleasant early morning start as we passed through town.
