If you’re a Biscoff lover, you HAVE to try the Biscoff Cookie Latte at Java Loco Coffee & Bubble Tea. My daughter craves this constantly—the Biscoff butter they use is so rich and thick, unlike the thin syrups you get elsewhere. It’s perfectly topped with velvety cold foam and crunchy cookie crumbles. Highly recommend for a cozy treat!
Beyond the amazing drinks, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. It’s the perfect local spot to grab a treat and chill for a bit!

The boba drink is excellent here! Wasn’t expecting much outside of where the most of the Asian shops are located (Annandale, Falls Church, etc), so I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and well made the boba was. So I went back a second time, and it was consistent. The only thing I have to comment on is that both times I visited, there were no other patrons during a mid day hour. The two people working there (young lady and gentleman) seemed very unmotivated and almost depressed in a way. Maybe it was due to the lack of activity inside their establishment, but I’d really like to see this place stick around and get busier. Maybe playing some nice upbeat music and running some local marketing campaigns with promotions to get more buzz going would be helpful? Well, today is a perfect boba day and I am looking forward to getting my drink at Java Loco later!

This is the sweetest and most relaxing place to meet friends and family for a good coffee or a bubble tea. It is very clean and the wait staff is pleasant and attentive. My coffee was an excellent start to the day. My good friends loved their bubble teas. Hope you give it a try! Not too much hustle. RELAXING

So pleasantly surprised this place popped up in the neighborhood! Excellent drip coffee first of all, today’s what I always look for and its reassuring when a place knows how to make real coffee, not just the fun drinks. Plenty of other coffee drinks, smoothies, plus bubble tea of course. I’ve also been really happy with the sandwiches, they have breakfast ones with egg and a few others (they could use a few other healthier snacks though, their pastries are all very indulgent). And sitting here is really nice, especially for a shopping center spot. They have chairs inside and out and a comfy back area where you can bring your laptop (excellent wifi). Overall much more than I was hoping for in this location and I hope they stick around!

5/3/2025: I was eyeing the honeydew melon smoothie. But, since it was before noon, I went with the large iced caramel macchiato. I paid $7.10; coffee’s getting expensive these days. It was too sweet for my liking and could have had a few more ice cubes as it was more warm than iced. After letting it rest, it cooled down. I will say, I rank their espresso better than Starbucks but lower than Peet’s Coffee.
I should’ve went with my gut and tried the honeydew melon smoothie with honey boba 🙁

Recently had a light breakfast here while my tires were being replaced. This is a gem it was a Starbucks but I’m glad Java Loco moved in. I like the fact of having a bubble tea place closer. This place is super cute especially the back seating area. I didn’t go all the way back there since people were back there. But great place as an alternative work location for people looking to be out. Its a bright and light with shades if it gets to bright. The staff was friendly and quick. Its also super clean inside.
Food: I had matcha tea with oat milk and boba. Glad they have non diary alternatives. I also had bacon and egg on a croissant.

They can’t get orders right. Food is mediocre at best. Customer service is terrible.
They forgot part of my order and I had to come back for it. When I asked them to remake it since it’d been sitting out for over 20 mins, they refused and tried to blame me saying it was my fault for forgetting it yet they handed my by bag of food telling me it was done. Won’t be back.
Starbucks is better.
