Fun, funky, friendly place with numerous wonderful coffee, tea, and food options. Outstanding service. Delicious yummies. (including tasty gluten free options).

A minor ‘could be better’ item (for me) is that one outdoor patio is uncovered (in full sun until just before leaving), on black asphalt, surrounded by parking spaces. Maybe great for those that get cold. Kudos to Java Joe’s for taking advantage of maximizing seating opportunities.

Great place for coffee and breakfast in downtown Albuquerque. We had large coffees, breakfast bagel and a full breakfast, all of which were fabulous. Staff were great and so were the tunes playing. Great to find a place that’s full of locals.

This spot is where scenes of Tuco’s hideout were shot in S1E5 of Breaking Bad! The coffee shop is beautiful inside with vivid colores walls. We got a breakfast burrito with sausage and beans red salsa. We also got cappuccino and drip coffee. The burrito was really good and good enough for 2 people if y’all are not too hungry. The coffee was snappy and well made. We were just amazed by its relation to Breaking Bad and the beloved characters.

Loved coming here! Good fresh bottomless coffee, I love that they change the flavors every day. The food is great, the green chile was very flavorful on the breakfast burrito I had and the Belgian Waffles were delicious and sweet. Also it’s nice and light on the stomach. Very old school coffee shop vibe with a minimalist feel. Can’t wait to come back to Java Joes!

Little cafe downtown that serves up some real treats. Today was the lox bagel; it came loaded. Also had the club sandwich; just a bit dry without mayo but we asked for a side and it made it better. Potato salad was just so-so. Overall a delicious meal. $42 with tip.

This place is amazing. The best breakfast, single origin coffee, down home feel and friendly staff. It never disappoints! This is the ideal local coffee shop. Their in house baked goods are also incredible. So good!

The food was very bad. The chilaquiles were inauthentic and poorly seasoned, the quesadilla was fine, but very greasy, and the matcha we had was incredibly thick and grainy. The only saving grace was the customer service, as the cashier and barista were very kind and remade the bad latte with better quality for us with a nice personal touch of latte art. Overall wouldn’t recommend the food, but the service is very nice and the drinks are okay.

Java Joe’s is an absolutely fantastic cafe! I’ve had the pleasure of eating here for over 20yrs. Solid as ever… Roxanna, the barista/manager is always on top of it and makes sure every drink order is correct and served quickly. Customer service is always great. Can’t say enough about this establishment. Keep it up guys!

One of my favorite coffee shops. Wonderful vibe and atmosphere. I come here almost every lunch when I work. Sit down and have coffee and a pastry. The staff are warm and friendly and the entire place is kept tidy and clean. Local art which can be purchased adorns the walls. For the life of me, I have no idea how they made the color red feel mellow. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I had a great omelet (Cheddar, sausage and green chili), and my husband had the chicken cordon Bleu sandwich – I tried it and it was outstanding. Latte, steamer with spiced brown sugar syrup, scrambled eggs and sausage – all were great. Parking was no trouble. Kids enjoyed it. Highly recommend!
