I like java Jack’s for the most part. I have 1 major complaint. Y’all have been out of black tea since before christmas 2025. I don’t care for coffee at all, but I do like the same black tea. You used to carry a different Earl Grey. I liked it best. I think it was called 2 leaves and a bud. Please replenish your black tea.

Great location with fair prices. The staff was nice and fast at getting our coffee. They had a decent variety of scones, croissants, and muffins. They have four or five different sizes for drinks. They also have a pretty good variety of coffee grounds for sale. Lots of seating inside and I am pretty sure this location had a drive through in the back.

If you really like warm water with a little bit of milk in it, you’ll probably like this place. I really judge a coffee place on how well they can do two things; and chai latte and a simple coffee. Both earned this place two stars, so do with that what you will.

We love visiting Java Jacks when we drive through Lufkin but I feel like the quality for their blended matcha has gone down so much. The drink tasted like watery milk and barely any matcha flavor. I wanted to go back to have it remade but my BF did not want to. In the past, the matchas were fine and they would ask us about whether we wanted it sweetened or not. We normally do not get it sweetened but this time we did not get asked at all. Very disappointing.
My Snickers latter was good and I love their variety of flavors for coffee. I just don’t think we will stop by for matchas here.

Their coffee is just done right-smooth, beans not overly bitter or burnt, beautiful aroma and the acidity, simply perfect. The place is so good, we always make it a rest stop when visiting family.

I looked through several options for a breakfast place this morning. I found this place on Google and saw the rave reviews for breakfast sandwiches. So I arrived with expectations that were dashed. There are three options on the menu. None are really breakfast but I selected the Morning Club when they asked me if I wanted an egg. I enthusiastically said yes and would like it over medium. She explained it comes as a frozen egg patty, so I declined. I sad down and received a brown paper bag with a soggy microwaved tuna, mayo, and onion, on a croissant. I took two bites, but I just can’t finish! Who microwaves mayo? It’s disgusting.

An employee of this establishment has been harassing a member of my family for going on a year, even going so far as to follow them in public and approach them in a threatening manner. The owners are aware and have done nothing. Being that this is a family owned establishment in a small community, it’s important that others are aware who they are giving their business to.
Also their coffee sucks.
