Beautiful and trendy spot with a great menu and best coffee I’ve tried in the area. Staff were very friendly and made our coffees in no time. They use a portion of their proceeds for some great charity causes of which you can see and read about in the shop. Would highly recommend to anyone passing through 🙂

Super cute coffee shop. I love the pay it forward option that they have. It’s epic that their lattes can be made into waffle toppings! I had a spinach and feta pastry and it was delicious-they happily warmed it up for me. All of the baristas were very friendly and even cleared my plates for me. I will say they’re a brand new business and cash is key. I felt bad not having cash…the one barista mentioned it, but I didn’t hear her clearly because I’m hard of hearing. The mugs on display are so cool that I was about ready to take one home. Great coffee, and great atmosphere. A true gem, and I can’t wait to come back.

Friendly staff, I arrived at 7:45am to pickup doughnuts for the office but they had NONE-ZERO! They said the “truck” was late, I thought pastries were freshly made in house. It’s more a coffee shop than food & pastries.

We had a fabulous visit this afternoon – a relaxing friendly atmosphere, great drinks, and perfect patries all at a wonderful price!

Games, plants, books – all make for a wonderful place to spend the afternoon.

And if you don’t have time to stay, the drive-thru option makes it worth planning an extra 5 minutes to your trip through the area.

One of my favorite places to get coffee on the way to work. Great people, fun seasonal flavors, and very good croissants! I get the chicken salad one for lunch.

Lovely coffee shop on the Westside of Cincinnati. The experience is always top notch, the owners are kind and generous, & the atmosphere is bright and welcoming. My family loves their iced coffee, chai lattes, and baked goods!

This place is everything I could hope for in a coffee shop! There’s a great selection of pastries to go with your coffee and the coffee itself is very good. I tried ‘the Cornhole’ and I was very happy with it. It was a comforting drink. And the warm cherry turnover I ordered was incredibly tasty.

The service is great! The servers are friendly and efficient, and they appear genuinely happy to see and meet customers. They had my order ready for me very quickly.

The atmosphere is AWESOME. The decor and furnishings are casual and welcoming. The place is very clean without seeming ‘coldly sterile.’ They have enough air conditioning to be comfortable even during the horrific heat wave that’s been plaguing the area in July 2025.

I WILL be coming back!

Java Jackets is a great coffee shop for those on the far west side of Cincinnati. Serving locally roasted coffee and in-house pastries, it’s a wonderful spot to stop in and enjoy.

The shop is tucked away from the main drag and can be overlooked, but it is well worth the visit. There is ample parking near the entrance, and they offer a convenient drive through for those who are on the go.

I am so excited to have a locally owned coffee shop in the neighborhood. The drive thru is totally a bonus for someone like me that doesn’t want to lug her 1 year old inside after dropping the big kids off at school! I am a cold coffee girl and have totally enjoyed the unique Buckeye blended and the River Road iced! Delish! They have a friendly staff that is willing to adjust your drink to your liking!

First time visit and not the last. Busy busy busy place. Java jackets is a good name. They were busy little bees. Fast and friendly service. I got the Cornhole frappe which you can also get iced or hot. I haven’t tried the food yet but the sandwiches and wrap looked good. Hopefully they can make to order because me and the guys at work are getting tired of the same 2 restaurant options for lunch. Great job I will be back soon.
