We opened the first Java House in Carmel, Indiana in May 2019. Since then, Java House has been busy in the Indianapolis community, opening more stores and having fun educating customers about coffee. Today, we are proud to have a total of 12 locations including four in Lafayette/West Lafayette Indiana. Java House specializes in Cold Brewing, rather than hot brewing, We originally chose to commit to authentic brewing methods, making sure every batch of coffee brewed has the same taste and quality as the last. Commonly, we brew in chilled water for a 12–24-hour period, yielding our standard smooth, flavorful Cold Brew.

Went here for a quick pick me up for a mom’s coffee date. We both wanted to try something new instead of the good old Starbucks that is on every corner. We made it just in time before they closed. We had our drinks outside, it was such a beautiful day. The service there was A1. I loved my drink. It was a salted caramel with a delicious foam on top. We both tried the whipped cream espresso which was delicious. We will definitely be back here again seeing it’s up the street from our house. FYI the coffee tasted more like a dessert.

Coffee sucks. The last 3 times I’ve been in, there’s more sugar than coffee. And when I ordered a regular coffee it tasted like coffee flavored water. I spend $6 on coffee it should taste like coffee. If your gonna be called Java house good coffee is what should come through

Nice new Cafe. Decor looks pretty new, but is missing cozy feel. Need Interior Design touch. Tables are just placed in the middle of the cafe.
Green Tea we got was delicious with a hint of lemon. Bagel Breakfast Sandwich was dry and tasteless. Lemon loaf was good.

Smooth, delicious coffee. Piping hot breakfast sandwiches too! Like lava hot, be careful. They are new and are getting a big rush! Be patient!! (If you can’t be patient and understanding, go elsewhere) As a result, a little slow on coffee prep, food came first. That’s ok though, rather have food and no coffee than coffee be gone and then eat. Great small space to meet with friends. They have a walk up window on the sidewalk too!

Staff was great and so friendly. The coffee…. One of the worst lattes I have ever had. We got two different drinks and both were undrinkable. The espresso tasted burnt and overall not good at all. We drink a lot of coffee/espresso. We have lived all over the country….. Not good. Hopefully this store can get that figured out. Thank you for the friendly staff though.

Great coffee house right off the Nickel Plate Trail! I love that I can roll up on my longboard and order from the sidewalk window—super convenient. The barista greeted me with a smile and recommended the “Workoholic” coffee drink. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! And the Everything Bagel breakfast sandwich? Amazing. Way better than that one other place… what was it? “Moonbucks”? “Starbarks”?

The bagel was a plain bagel but still good to snack on for a quick breakfast. The new Neapolitan coffee is insanely good. Whoever works the morning shift on Thursdays does a great job such nice girls!!
