I’ve been here a few times now and the customer service and the coffee have always been outstanding. From the very first time to the very last time I went they always treat you like they know you and your friend.
And if you want hot coffee, this stuff is straight fire!

Java Dog is ah-mazing!! My husband and I got to meet THE Java dog- such a cutie and brightened our days! It brought smiles to our faces and plenty of other customers that were sooooo excited to see the Java dog! My husband got a caramel latte with oatmilk and caramel drizzle and said it was really good! We will be back anytime we visit

Much needed midday pick me up to give my mom and I energy to shop at the Cotton Exchange! Delicious coffee and pleasant ambiance.

What a great shop! I was in town to continue visiting each county in NC, and I really needed a snack. The recommended apple croissant was AMAZING. Great chunks of apple. And pretty well brewed unsweetened iced tea for me. Look forward to coming back and hanging out because the staff were also so sweet!

Stopped in for coffee one Friday mid morning. It was pretty busy when we first got there but slowed down after we received our drinks. The downstairs is fairly small and got cramped when everyone was in the ordering line, but there is an upstairs area for sitting that was great for getting some work done.
The drinks we ordered were good, and pricing was on par with other coffee shops in town. Multiple customers brought their dogs in with them, which was cool to see.
The only downside was the temperature inside. I don’t know if it’s always as warm as it was, but it is in an old historic building downtown so that’s not that unusual. Overall this was a positive experience though and a place worth visiting!

The inside of the coffee house is very cozy and the seating in front is comfortable and has enough room on the table to get some work done as well.

The staff looked cheerful and were great as well.

Prices are amazing for what you get. Highly recommend coming here for your caffeine needs. I got the cold brew and have zero regrets.

Java Dog is my Coffee spot. They make a variety of hot and cold coffee and tea drinks. Staff are friendly and the service is great. Lots of good breakfast pastry food items to choose from. Located at the Cotton Exchange.

Great little coffee shop! They have a chocolate lab that is super sweet, well behaved, and friendly. The coffee tastes great and they have a decent selection of pastries and bagels. Definitely a place to stop when you are in search of a good cup of coffee. You can also bring your dog.

This has been one of my favorite coffee houses for a long time. Located in the Cotton Exchange building on Front street. The coffee and the service is excellent. The blended Frappuccinos are so good it is like a delicious dessert in a cup. Lol. Their Frappuccinos are my favorite as of now 10/12/23. Most recently I got an Iced sugar free vanilla Latte and it was also excellent but not my favorite in Wilmington. They also sell some local pastries, coffee beans and merch. There is a LOT of coffee house competition in downtown and all through out Wilmington. This is one of the best and has been here before a lot of the new comers. If you are visiting the area this is a must try. Grab a coffee and check out the other shops in the Cotton Exchange. If you live in the area and you have not tried the Java Dog you are slippin.
