Ideally, with such a wealthy clientele living in the area, the service should be impeccable. But unfortunately, the baked goods are just like regular store like food. Coffee’s not bad.

Today I visited Java Bakery Café in Newport Beach, and I had a fantastic experience. I ordered a cappuccino and a blueberry muffin, both of which were absolutely delicious. The coffee was rich and well-prepared, while the muffin was freshly baked, fluffy, and packed with flavor.
The café has a cozy, casual atmosphere, perfect for working or simply enjoying some time off. The staff was very friendly and professional, which made my visit even more enjoyable. There’s also easy parking access, which is a big advantage in Newport Beach, and they have clean restrooms, making it super convenient for customers.
I highly recommend Java Bakery Café, whether you’re looking for great coffee, healthy breakfast options, or just a peaceful spot to relax on their outdoor patio.

It’s Newport beach, so naturally, it’s a little on the pricey side, but not unreasonable. I went straight fatty today and got a medium Americano, a European bagel, and a flourless chocolate cake, which all totaled up to a little over $22 before I tipped. The bagel is huge, so I only had half of that. I did somehow managed to put away every single crumb from that cake, though. I was a little surprised at how many people were there on a Wednesday morning, but the service was fast. They have a nice outdoor patio dining area, as well as an interesting inside area. We are camping over at Newport Dunes, so this place is just a quick trip from there, but a nice change. Not gonna lie, though. I feel a little out of place each time I go there. Maybe they just prefer their OC types to my IE type. (Shrug)

I enjoy supporting local businesses and came here with a friend who lives nearby. This is a cute little cafe that serves Organic coffee along with pastries, bagels and other items. Coffee was wonderful. My friend had the California Breakfast Bagel and I had the Breakfast Burrito. On the day we came the Cafe was decorated for Christmas. We sat at a corner booth enjoying the view. Watched the locals coming and going. They have covered patio seating if you want to sit outside.

Just enjoyed a great little breakfast. Scrambled eggs cheese and toast for $5.99.
Apparently they make all their own breads and bakery items. Warm and cozy inside.
A neighborhood gem.
We also really enjoy their grab and go salads and sandwiches. Fresh high quality and quick.
We tried the turkey avocado on fresh sourdough yesterday.

Cute place. Employees very friendly. Super disappointed when I ordered soup and salad for $12.99 and received a tiny cup of soup and a handful of salad which was chopped up romaine lettuce with some shredded carrots and red cabbage. The meal was worth $6. Not $12.99. The soup was great. Just wish there was more of it. Won’t be back for lunch. Might go back to try coffee and a croissant though.

This is such a cute little coffee spot. Totally a gem in the balboa crossing.
Need to find coffee quickly and googled this spot as the closest Coffee. The decor is so cute, the food looks amazing (they have a huge menu but we didn’t get anything) and the service is A+.
Can’t forget friendly locals either! Look at this little cutie
If you need a quick pick me up I highly suggest stopping in.

Such a lovely place to be after a day in Newport Beach. The wrap and quesadilla are so fresh, and coffee is better than Starbucks! All taste great!

The service and atmosphere here is incredible. The outdoor seating area gives a nice portion to enjoy your experience outside. I had the turkey club on gluten-free bread with a side salad and a coconut macaroon with a mixed cold pressed juice to wash it all down. Every single bite and sip was incredibly delicious. I would absolutely eat here again. Highly recommend
