Our server, Morgan made our dining experience here so wonderful and pleasant. She greated us at the dining table with a positive energy and made sure that we were looked after while dining. They don’t have many vegetarian options but we were happy with the couple of dishes that we ordered.

A great location with outside seating in a quaint little part of town. Plenty of parking just off street. Food selection is good and very tasty. Try some of the beers! Just off of the highway and worth the stop.

One of the most under appreciated spots in the upper valley! Great beer brewed on site, delicious cocktails, burgers are superb, and an authentic northern New England inn in historic Norwich, VT!

The place has a lot of character and history but the food was bland and expensive. The service was professional and courteous. The selection of beer and wine was satisfactory but nothing to rave about. Making a reservation also seemed a bit more complicated than necessary given there were open tables the entire time we dinned.

Staff was nice, food was meh at best. Drinks took longer than necessary on a slow Sunday night. We started with the pretzel sticks which were delicious. For the mains, we ordered two salmons which were delicious. A salad with chicken that was expensive when compared to the ingredients on the plate. The last was a Sheppards pie that had so much liquid in it, that it looked like unprocessed baby food. That dish was suppose to come with brussel sprouts on the side. We got a tiny dish with 9 marble sized sprouts. Yes, we counted. The dish was tiny and the amount of brussel sprouts barely filled it. That dish was sent back due to its less than appeasing look and taste, and was replaced with a main course salad the size of a side salad and was still $18. Won’t be returning anytime soon.

The best outdoor seating in the UV. A beautiful old inn. Enjoy the best of all seasons including indoor fireplace for those chilly winter nights. Awesome beers brewed on site. Six plus taps. Good pub fair to boot.

Very limited menu. Had chicken wings that were not very juicy. So so French fries and pot stickers that were very chewy. Had draft beer which we should have asked for a sample before ordering as it was not to our liking. Overall very expensive for quality of food. Best part was setting out in patto was very pleasant and relaxing.

Absolutely great place. Classic New England Inn with semi-formal dinning, an inviting casual pub, sitting rooms, a front porch full of rocking chairs, patio dining, a hop garden, and a wonderful tradition-driven brewery that happens to be one of the oldest in Vermont. Been coming here for my birthday for 20 years.

Unfortunately, both the meat and veggie burgers were dry, bland, and too expensive for what they were: cooked up frozen patties plopped onto dry untoasted buns without any kind of sauce. Beers were also mediocre, just a bit “off” somehow. That said, there was nice outdoor seating and staff were attentive and professional.
