This was my first time at Jason’s deli. I was skeptical at first especially because you have to know what to order as you walk in. Normally places that do that I won’t go but when my fiance and I walked in I told the employees that this was our first time and we didn’t know what to order. They immediately were willing to help! They gave us a physical menu and told us to take our time! That took a lot of pressure off. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and my fiance ordered something else I don’t remember the name of it but he really liked it! I loved my chicken Alfredo and was impressed that even the chicken alone was so good and seasoned! Everything was so delicious! The restaurant was very clean and inviting. They were not that busy so it was quiet and nice. I am so glad we tried out this restaurant and we will be back!

APRIL MERCER IS THE BEST!!! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was different. The atmosphere immediately stood out — warm lighting, clean tables, and music playing softly in the background without being overwhelming. It felt welcoming but still lively. The staff greeted me within seconds and made me feel like they actually appreciated my business. I ordered the house specialty along with a side and a drink, and I didn’t have to wait long before the food arrived fresh and hot. Presentation was impressive — everything looked intentional, colorful, and well-plated. You could tell care was put into it. The first bite sealed it for me. The flavors were balanced perfectly — seasoned just right without being overpowering. The meat was tender and juicy, cooked exactly how I asked. The sides weren’t an afterthought either; they complemented the main dish instead of just filling space on the plate. Even the sauce had depth — slightly sweet, a little smoky, and layered with flavor. What really stood out was consistency. Every bite tasted just as good as the first. That’s rare. Portion sizes were generous, especially for the price. You definitely get value for your money here. The drink was cold and refreshing, and the overall timing of service was smooth — no long gaps, no feeling rushed. Before leaving, the staff checked on me to make sure everything was good. That attention to detail goes a long way. Customer service can make or break a restaurant, and they clearly understand that. Overall, this place exceeded expectations. Great food, solid portions, fair prices, and excellent service. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to friends and family.

I love this place. No matter how busy they are, my food always comes hot, fresh, and quickly. The salad bar always looks well stocked and fresh. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Will be back for sure.

Great and healthy restaurant that is consistently great fresh food and friendly service. I’ve been a fan of Jason’s Deli for 20+ years in different cities. This restaurant is Abilene is no exception. I love their variety of healthy foods ranging from sandwiches, wraps, huge loaded baked potatoes, wonderful soups, fresh fruit, salads and salad bar. I especially like that if you have food allergies, they are able to accommodate these. They even have gluten free bread. My favorite is that you can make your own ice cream come after your meal.

Nick- I woke up today stomach vibrating making my whole room quake. Wow. First triple 5 star. I cant believe how good this establishment is. I have been filled by no other resteraunt the way i have this one. I havent been this emotional since breakfast this morning. I cannot believe that i was not removed after consuming the entire stock of the building. Boy oh boy did i enjoy the free ice cream. I ordered three cheddar broccoli soups and two santa fe chicken sandwiches. I tried to order a side salad but instead i recieved 3 sides of mac and cheese. One complaint moreover. They didnt let me fill the to go boxes with that creamy vanilla swirl. Im just a big guy tryna get by. LOL. (Will doordash later tonight) -Nick

This, being my first time at a Jason’s Deli, I am pleasantly surprises! When testing out a sandwich joint, I usually go for a Reuben. The Reuben that I enjoyed here was very good, in my top 5! The rest of my party had pleasant compliments as well! It’s hard to judge a place during the Covid pandemic, but I feel this place definitely deserves 5 stars!

Worst experience ever!! Paid $35.00 for 2 sandwiches, then when I opened box I noticed they did not make it as ordered then I lifted it up and it just fell apart!! So disappointed!! I don’t know what happened to this deli, but it is no longer a great place to eat. We will definitely be finding a new place. That’s a lot of money for a sandwich that isn’t made well. Subway does better!
