A favorite haunt for me and my son. Good staff, clean place. Always healthy food options, and prices just barely within my tiny budget. ‍

Kitchen crew is fast and efficient like a Toyota assembly line.

If your kids are picky eaters, try this little custom sandwich mine enjoys:

Grilled cheese kids meal.
Add turkey and ranch dressing.
Toast the whole thing.
Side of chips. Includes a free soft drink or chocolate milk.

If your kids will eat veggies, you can spruce it up even more.

Don’t tell anyone about the complimentary dessert ice cream.

The food is good. The problem is that after visiting Jason’s Deli for over twenty years, they never serve clean plates. I can’t count how many times I’ve been handed a salad bowl that the staff then used a towel to clean off dried food before handing it to us. They clearly don’t recognize the importance of clean dishes. They also do not include their pricing online, which has in the past prevented us from visiting.

Edit: I have been back three times since this review and each time our party is still receiving dirty dishes.

Taking my information doesnt change unsanitary practices. Get a new dish washer.

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a side salad with a soda; $22. Prices have gone up. The salad bar is always worth the trip. Food and service is good, but I may not go that often. Also, years ago they had a good French Onion Soup. They should bring that back.

In general, my last two experiences to Jason’s Deli (different locations, different cities) have been less than stellar after years of exceptional experiences. In South Dallas I had a 1-star experience. In Cedar Park it was a 3-star experience. Sharing details here on Cedar Park. Store was clean and food, as always, was fresh and healthy. Service is what qualified the store for only 3 stars. My granddaughters and I were seated and enjoying our meal and conversation. Store was only about 10% full with customers at around 4pm on a Sunday. An employee chose to sit at the table immediately behind us and watch videos on her phone so loud that it disrupted our conversation. Other available tables were everywhere! I reported the issue to the manager on duty and he addressed it. The employee moved a table away and we were able to enjoy the end of our meal. Before we left we decided to use the restroom. All the restroom lights were off and I couldn’t find a switch. I had to again go to the manager to report the issue. Interestingly, he responded by saying he had addressed the seating/noise issue with the employee. I was already past that and was only asking about the bathroom lights. Seemed socially strange but at least he was trying to keep me informed. I think someone must have flipped the lights off from the staff area because the lights were on in both the men’s and ladies room (you could tell through the frosted glass on the top of the doors) when I returned to the restroom and no one had entered them.

Just a strange experience all around.

We had to order delivery for work recently and the food was incredible!! They took their time to organize the orders into individual bags and delivered right on time. To top it off everything was still fresh & delicious. 10/10 will be visiting again!!

I’ve been eating at Jason’s Deli for 25 years. I eat at a Jason’s Deli at least a few times a week. I love everything on the menu. BUT there is a lot lacking when I order from this location. I’ve included pictures of the barely there Sirloin Steak Dip sandwich. My husband loved the flavors but it was basically bread with the idea of meat. My Nutty Mixed Up salad is once again 80% greens. And although there was a good amount of chicken this time, there should have been more strawberries, grapes and cheese. Please understand that I’m comparing what I picked up tonight with the same meals at other locations. I will continue to eat at Jason’s Deli, but not this location. It’s not worth the price to get so little food. I feel like I’m being robbed.

All of my sandwiches have been made with fresh bread and vegetables, and prepared the way I order them.  This includes online orders.
There’s a lot of seating in this restaurant, and a good parking lot.

Service was OK, but got the slight impression that I was intruding on staff’s valuable conversation time.
The food was good, but there was hardly any of it. Finished my sandwich in 3 bites.
I’ve gone a couple times to different locations, and I really don’t get what the big deal is. Looking at what other people got, it seemed all the portions were small for what they cost.
Tables and bathroom were at least clean, but overall not impressed.

The food was good and everything was clean. The wait staff was friendly and helpful when I needed a spoon for the soft serve ice cream. A good place to go for a variety of light offerings as well as hearty food.

Would give one star but the manager remade my sandwich.

I ordered a beefeater. I’ve enjoyed this sandwich from Jason’s Deli for almost 30 years now. What I received today was inedible and just plain gross.

We waited over 20 minutes for our food. We almost asked for a refund. Wish I had. Our food had no love whatsoever.

I ate the first half of my sandwich and I was really disappointed in it. It was cold. It was soggy. And just plain gross.

When I grabbed the second half of my sandwich it fell apart into mush in my hand. It literally turned into slop. Totally unacceptable.

I took it to the counter and gave it to the manager. He fixed it and promptly brought out half of a sandwich that was warm, toasted, not soggy, and was more like what I expected.

The excuse was that the meat was juicy from the Au jus gravy. But we watched our food sit at the counter for a long time. I got up twice to grab it but got confused when I thought they were bringing it….but nope. People that ordered behind us even had their food before us. The reason my sandwich was bad was because the service was bad. My sandwich got soggy because they took FOREVER.

Meanwhile, while we eat this weird excuse for a sandwich, they are constantly cleaning tables around us, slamming chairs, and being pretty annoying.

Overall I was very disappointed in our lunch, as we are new to the area and just moved from downtown. We will never eat here again but the manager was nice enough to finally make a real sandwich. I just don’t understand why that sandwich couldn’t be great the first time around. There are too many other choices in walking distance, to put out food this gross. There is literally another deli next door. I am curious if all the food in cedar park is this bad?
