I had the salad bar… everything was fresh, clean, and fairly priced. The only meat option is bacon but there’s lots of other options available to build a delicious meal

Complimentary soft serve ice cream is tasty. The salad bar offers a variety of healthy and tasty options. The tomatoes are not the most flavorful I’d find at Whole Foods, for example, but the salads and sandwiches have been satisfying. Also, in looking at reviews, I was impressed that the owner, Ian Tucker, took responsibility for a problem, offering to resolve it with the customer. How often does that happen! That’s impressive.

The menu had a great selection, and I decided to try their classic Reuben sandwich. The sandwich was packed with tender corned beef, melted cheese, and just the right amount of sauerkraut. The bread was perfectly toasted, giving it a nice crunch. The sides, especially the potato salad, were fresh and flavorful. The service was friendly, but it took a bit longer than expected to get our food.

Called in an order to go ..told them I wanted the regular chips with salsa that it comes with .when you get the regular chips you get more than just a tiny bit You get from a small bag, of specialty chips. what they gave me was chips in a bag that a cookie would fit in, didn’t ask or tell me Pretty crummy, pretty cheapskate.

Jazmin took extra care to personalize some of the orders for our guests with gluten and dairy restrictions, which meant so much. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness really stood out and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

I have never been so impressed with a deli sandwich, not only the amount of meat but the flavor and freshness I won’t lie I thought I would be disappointed, but I was thrilled, and let not forget the seafood gumbo, and the southwest chicken chili both with immense flavor. My daughter had the chicken Alfredo and loved it and what a great portion! I WILL order again!!

I ordered the chicken pesto panini. It’s boring and it wasn’t very good. Not a lot of substances, aka chicken. Too much pesto for my liking. The other sandwich was tasty and very filling.

Sandwich quality has improved since once I stopped frequenting this location after we moved farther away and closer to the Roanoke location.

There was an issue with my to go order so I called to let them know and Angelo told me to just let someone know when I came back and he would replace the item on the next visit. He not only kept his word but he and the manager were very polite and ended up discounting my whole next order and ensured everything was correct. I am very grateful and was happy to know some places still have a standard or service. Will always recommend and will only be dining at this JD going forward. Excellent staff from the top down. Thank you all!
