Fast forward to last week. I placed another DD order, including a cookie, and called the store to make sure they put it in the bag. I couldn’t remember the managers name so I wasn’t going to mention about the previous mixup. I just wanted to make sure the one I ordered for that day made it in the bag. That same person remembered my voice and asked if I had gotten my missing cookie yet! I told her not yet because I hadn’t ordered from there since that day. Not because I was angry about the cookie, I just cycle through different restaurants and hadn’t gotten the chance yet. She made sure I got my cookie.
I know it seems silly over a cookie but I just really appreciated the acceptance of accountability and the fact that she remembered my voice. She was very friendly and accommodating. I like to give credit where credit is due.
Also, I’ve always had fantastic food when I order from this location. They have phenomenal Togo salads as well! The ingredients are always fresh and I feel like I get my money’s worth.
Thank you to the staff and especially the manager at this location!
Upade: I’ve been trying the soups and both the chicken pot pie soup and the beef stew a fabulous!
Thank you all so, so much. Not to mention, the food here is fantastic! This might just be the best restaurant on the strip. 11/10 would recommend.
The pros:
1. Service was excellent.
2. Soup was good.
3. Prices are reasonable.
4. There’s a salad bar with pretty fresh food.
5. Free soft serve ice cream.
The cons:
1. It’s in a downtown setting, so parking was a bit of an issue.
2. The salad bar was not as impressive as I had hoped. The vegetables were larger and not particularly salad friendly sized. For example, they put out baby carrots instead of shredded carrots. I realize that’s probably because shredded carrots spoil faster, but baby carrots and big chunks of broccoli are not really salad-sized.
Overall, definitely a better alternative to fast food, but just not as great as I had hoped or the reviews made it sound.
