$17 plus tax for a corned beef and pastrami sandwich and chips? The men’s room is a total disgrace, the floor is filthy, urinal is all cracked, the mirror on the wall is rusted along with the brackets. If this room is like that what about the kitchen area? Seriously spend some profits and update the bathroom!

I ordered a plain Jane with no bacon and no green onions and all I got was cheese. There was no sour cream and no butter on the potato. The cheese was really thick and stuck together like it was oily cheese and the potato was really dry and chunky like it wasn’t fully cooked or old. The last time I came here I ordered a bowl of soup that was eight dollars and looks like a cup of soup. There was no way that that soup was worth eight dollars or this potato worth $12. I understand food prices have gone up, but if you’re going to charge a lot then you should probably make sure that the quality is good.

This Jason’s Deli is clean, organized and typically not too crowded. Their menu is displayed on the wall as well as they have physical menus you can use. You order at the register and get a number. They will deliver your order to your table. The POS system pushes a tip when you pay. I still don’t get these restaurants who want a tip before the service.
Their salad bar is usually well stocked and has a lot of variety.
We ordered the beefeater (it’s just a French dip) and the nutty mixed-up salad. They both came out prepared well. In the past they could never get the pastrami sandwich cooked correctly so I go with the beefeater now since that’s hard to mess up. I wish their au jus had more flavor.
They have free soft serve ice cream (vanilla, chocolate or swirl) and chocolate syrup. You can put it in a cone or bowl. Usually it is so soft a bowl is your best option. It’s a nice freebie but not the most flavorful.
The staff are very nice and are always looking to clean up and take empty plates.

My favorite part after waiting 20 minutes for a sandwich in the drive thru is when I get home and it has almost no chicken and it’s burnt… yea those black pieces are burnt pieces as well. They also forgot my salsa AND chips. So there’s that too. The last time I went they forgot my soup. So. Maybe eat somewhere else. (The chips in the picture are from the other combo we ordered)

Jason’s Deli is a great place for lunch. Their food has always been good, today not quite as good as usual. I had the Burnt End Mac and Cheese. Wasn’t all that good and was barely warm. So I’ll get something else the next time. No worries! All other meals from there were great and I love the ice cream bar!
Update: I ate at Jason’s Deli again a couple days ago and I’m very disappointed. Take a look at the photo of my Turkey sandwich. Looks like it’s missing a lot of turkey! I took it back to the counter and said I feel like I was shorted. She said it’s right, that’s the norm! So after years of being a fan of Jason’s, that’s probably my last time eating there. Such a shame

We ate at the Lake Mary location last night and enjoyed it just as much as always. The salad bar is excellent with plenty of fresh items to choose from. Jason’s Deli even has a special place in our story—my spouse and I went there years ago on our first date, and we ended up getting married two years later. Every visit since then has been consistently great. The restaurant is always clean, and the employees are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Had to take a moment to leave a nice review. Yesterday I grabbed a quick dinner for my 5yo and me. My potato was delicious as always and my son devoured the pasta and meatballs. He said he “tore it up!” Not an easy feat for a picky 5 yo. Anyway, I had also ordered a strawberry shortcake and it was only after we finished our dinner that I realized I didnt get it. No biggie… stuff happens.
Well today, Im still on a kick for a baked potato so I went back. I mentioned that the evening before I wasn’t provided the shortcake I paid for. Without hesitation, they got me the shortcake.
I really appreciated that because they had to just take me at my word (I don’t keep food receipts). They were very kind about it and honestly, if they had pushed back, I would’ve understood. But they corrected their error and that goes a long way with me. Thank you, Jason’s Deli!
PS I love the Papa Joe!

I visited Jason’s Deli on Friday. This is the second time in just a couple weeks that I’ve had lunch there. I’ve been there several times in the past. I gave you another chance and you blew it. Last time I ordered my favorite, a ham and salami muffaletta. There was ONE slice of ham folded up, on the entire sandwich. I brought it back to the counter and had them remake it. Friday I gave you a second chance. Again, totally disappointed. There was ham, but only 1 piece of salami. I, again, returned to the counter, asking where the salami was. They supposedly remade the sandwich, but again, one piece of salami, and toasted into oblivion. The roll was hard as a rock, so I think they just retoasted it. No apologies. This will be the last time I go to Jason’s deli. Just make the food like it’s supposed to be made. I am very disappointed once again. No third chances. There are many other places to choose from in Lake Mary.

Strawberries and pound cake being prepared at the pickup up counter next to the cash register – gross ! . The floor was also filthy behind the counter at 11am.

At lunch here today about 1pm. Most of the tables were dirty and unattended. Jason’s Deli has always been a favored place to eat but the last two times we’ve been here has been a noticeable change in appearance and not in a good way. I realize lunch hour bank is hectic, but as a customer searching for a clean table is not only frustrating but disappointing.
