Hadn’t been here in a long time, so I walk in and tell that to the cashier followed by “so how does this work?” gesturing towards the salad bar. They responded with “That’s OK”, and blankly stared at me… it seemed like the salad was offered as some sort of combo meal upgrade, which I was interested in as I ideally wanted both a small salad and a sandwich. Since it was clear I wasn’t going to receive any real assistance, and the menu was a confusing mess, I simply ordered a salad with added chicken as a compromise, assuming a $3-4 upcharge. Was shocked to hear $17.26 as the total, but I was hungry enough to just deal with it. Figured that much cost implied maybe he doubled up the meat on me without asking, but instead I get a measly pile of sous vide(?) a-la-Sysco chicken breast for almost $6.

The overall experience was very poor, and the food quality was nowhere near worth the price. I wished I had gone up the street to Whole Foods to receive a far superior product for less.

It’s a shame, I remember liking this place a lot the last time I came, but this has left a bad taste in my mouth (literally and figuratively).

Jahziel, Cameron, Haley, and the whole crew are absolutely fantastic, and you can tell they enjoy being here serving guest. This is by far the best Jasons deli location in all of Atlanta!

I wish I had found this place sooner. I traveled to this area for business and stopped in to get a sandwich to go. They have an extensive sandwich selection on their menu, but can make most any sandwich that you want. They also have a very large and fresh salad bar.
The staff was very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. They seem to be happy to be working there.
When I come back to Kennesaw, I will dine in for the full experience.
I fully recommend that you give it a try. Oh, and don’t forget the FREE ICE CREAM!

I ordered a salad online to-go. One of the options was a variety of pasta and potato salads, however chocolate mousse was also listed. I thought sure, I’ll have a cup of chocolate mousse with my salad. They put the mousse in the salad, on top of the mushrooms, with the cheese, fried onions and pickles on top of the mousse. I have no idea why anyone would have thought chocolate mousse goes IN a salad! Nowhere on the ordering page was there an indication the mousse would go in the salad. I had to scoop it out and toss that corner of the salad.

I ordered DoorDash from this location and unbeknownst to me the app no longer gives you the option to order ranch. Which I would’ve gladly paid for had to give me the option. I asked my DoorDash driver if he could please ask for a ranch to go with my baked potato and the manager Ed was incredibly rude to him saying that no that that’s not gonna happen. She’s gotta pay for it which is fine. I don’t mind that, but I mean, maybe be a little bit more considerate if you have a paying customer obviously I could not get to the store maybe do it just a little courtesy? I hope Ed is making a big profit off of my $3.75 for ranch you lost a customer over that

I did drive thru in Kennesaw, and I must be spoiled with dine in at LaVista Road. The pickle was a small piece of end, and chips were small. I guess I will just have to go back to LaVista Road to get my regular Jason’s Deli fix. I still love Jason’s though.

Ordered delivery tonight. Got the Reuben sandwich and a “make your own salad”. First impression was amazing. The Reuben was nice and big, and looked great with a little sauerkraut peeking out. But that’s where the positive reactions ended. Kind of hard to screw up a salad unless the ingredients are old/rotten. These ingredients were fine, but the flavor just didn’t taste remotely good. Not bad, but a little off, and not something I’d order again. Something I couldn’t identify just had a funny flavor.
The Reuben was down-right bad. Zero flavor of the typical Reuben with the great smoky, salted pastrami flavor, with all those pickling spices. It was like eating a piece of beef boiled in water with zero seasonings. I used to eat at Jason’s on occasion, but lately have been going to McCallister’s deli, which is much better. I’d even rather have Arby’s Reuben than eat Jason’s again.

I don’t know why but this location is always cold. I usually have to wear long pants and a coat when I come because they are blasting the AC even in the winter. I ordered the turkey wrap with baked chips and my friends got the salad bar. The bad part about this location is sometimes it can be hard to find a clean table (although they only usually have 1 person cleaning tables for the whole place). And sometimes the salad bar is bare (not refilled) and the lettuce can be a bit dicey sometimes. Still upset that they changed the salad bar rules- before COVID you paid around $10 for unlimited refills/trips and after COVID you still pay $10 but you only get to go once. Kind of a joke.

Been going there for years but it’s really slipped lately. My parents don’t go here anymore because of a bad experience recently. Last week I was there and there was a large beatle in the salad. I showed the manager and she just laughed it off. I’m not going back.
