FOOD> As far back as I can remember I have ALWAYS ordered the the California Club which features roasted turkey breast, bacon, Swiss cheese, guacamole, tomato, field greens, and mayo on a toasted croissant. It comes with a choice of sides (yes, a there is a healthy fruit option) but I think the chips are the perfect pairing
THIS time it was chilly out and I sought some warm soup or comfort food so I tried the Chicken Pot Pie Bowl (picture attached) it was lovely! The square of Phyllo was light and flaky and the soup was rich and delicious.

Dessert for ALL!!!
Self service kiosk with vanilla chocolate ice cream was the perfect ending

SERVICE> The service is ALWAYS stellar here and the open line is a marvel to observe. There is always a participative team feeling and some lovely individuals coming through quickly flipping tables for the constant stream of hungry patrons. Everyone has a song in their heart here and it shows.

LOCATION> This little gem is truly located in the heart of town right by the Haywood Mall on the perimeter. You can access it from 385 Haywood Road exit or Laurens Road or even I-85 Laurens Road to Haywood. From Pleasantburg take Congaree then right onto Haywood. From Greer/Taylors and the Eastside take Edwards Road, Hudson Road/Pelham/Patewood or East North Street to Haywood.

ATMOSPHERE> This restaurant has a jovial a community feel. It is wonderful for a date, family/group gathering as you order and pay up front so it caters to individual checks.

There is plenty of different seating from tables that seat 2-large parties if pushed together. There are also cozy booths.
Plenty of wheelchair accessible tables.

PARKING> There was plenty of parking

I like Jason’s Deli in Greenville. We visite this place sometimes on Sundays. I like the food specially the Salad bar.
The only thing they need attention is on the employees that are giving the plates for the salad bar. They need to show more customer service. My experience was not that pleasant when I went to ask for a plate for salad bar, the kid who was there gave me a look like if I were asking for free food. He even asked me for the receipt to proof I paid for the salad bar. I understand that we need to give a piece of the receipt to prove that the person paid but THE RUDENESS AND BAD ATTITUDE of this person was not appreciated.
Please training is needed so customers feel respected and welcome.

Best salad bar in town! Only downside is they are acting like a McDonald’s and not fixing the soft serve machine! Come on guys fix your machine so we can enjoy that lovely cone!
I will stop in on 3/6 for a complimentary cone. 😉

Restaurant with varied food and very good quality. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The salad bar is particularly worth mentioning. You can put together your own side salad or eat as much salad as you like. Nobody goes home hungry here.

Messed up my first order but the manager called me to fix it and then delivered it for free to my work, insanely good customer service. That being said I’ve definitely had better quality meats, which would be less of a big deal if the prices were to come down a little. As far as atmosphere I’m not a huge fan of what they’ve got going on but I’m sure it’s fine for most people. Overall I give it a 3.5, great customer service though so they got that going for em

I have eaten at this location several times but this last Sunday will be my last time. My husband ordered soup and salad bar and the soup was warmish at best. Another person brought their soup up to the counter as well and asked for it to be heated up. My Texas BBQ spud wasn’t cooked all the way through.

Several employees were standing at the food station drinking soda out of bottles and cups, and didn’t wash their hands after. The rest were standing around talking while the dining room was a mess.

The worst part however was the Reuben I ordered to go for my mom. There was absolutely zero thousand island dressing on it. It had American cheese on it. Overall it was just terrible and my mom ended up throwing it away. What a waste of $18 just for a sandwich.

Great ruben with loads of meat. Chicken caesar salad was really good. Saw lots of things we want to come back to try. Lots of options and the salad bar looked great. Reminds me of NYC deli’s without the NYC prices.

Lunch Saturday was at Jason’s Deli with my niece and my brother. There was a nice sized crowd, but all three of us decided on the salad bar. I’m “ low carbing” at the moment (blood work coming up next month)so a good salad is a plus. The salad bar was well stocked with veggies, the only meat on their salad bar was chopped bacon. Several different lettuce blends and toppings from cucumbers, black olives, potato salad, pasta salad, black bean and corn salsa, shredded cheese, corn bread and ginger bread mini muffins(none for me) only to name a few of the items. All in all it’s a decent salad bar with a selection of your favorite dressings. I enjoyed my salad, and it was good to spend time with my brother and his daughter.

My fellow Gluten-free adventurers (because eating out GF is always an adventure, right?), if you’re experiencing sandwich envy, please know that Jason’s Deli has GF bread substitution for all their deli sandwiches. No…we’re not talking the fancy panini sandwiches…not that I even know what a panini tastes like with being gluten-free for so long. But if you want a plain ole sandwich on Udi’s type bland GF bread – toasted (!), Jason’s got you, babe.

I still think their salads are the tastier option, but now you’ve got choices, my friend. And isn’t that what we all want? That and free ice cream, of course.

Thanks, Jason, wherever you are.
