This is an overdue review – we had hoped to return when we could be seated for a meal and drinks with live music, but, as with so many great venues with fabulous live music groups, it was standing room only – even on the extended outdoor deck area. Of course, being right on the main drag in Gatlinburg, this is no surprise! The featured music group was Hwy TENN and they were excellent, so we did hang out for a few numbers before eventually heading on to a place for dinner. We do plan to return and will plan to arrive early for live music – definitely worth it!

We stopped into Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar for lunch on our last day in Gatlinburg, and just when I thought Ole Red had the worst pulled pork in town… along came this place to lower the bar even further.

This spot feels like a shameless tourist money grab that doesn’t taste nearly as good as the music sounds. From the paper plates and plastic forks to the completely unremarkable food, nothing here lives up to the name on the building. The BBQ pulled pork was forgettable at best and disappointing at worst, certainly not something that should be carrying Jason Aldean’s brand.

The whole experience just falls flat. You’re paying premium prices for food that feels rushed, generic, and disposable, both literally and figuratively. It’s hard to take a restaurant seriously when it looks like it’s prepared for a middle-school field trip. That said, it’s not without any redeeming qualities. The rooftop view is great, and the live music is fun, especially if you want a Nashville-style vibe without actually driving to Nashville… though I guess that depends which direction you’re coming from.

Bottom line: come for the view and the music if you must, but don’t come hungry or expecting anything memorable on the plate.

Honestly wasn’t expecting too much, just kinda figured another chain on the main drag, gonna prolly be average. Well boy was I wrong! Place was busy, it was lunch rush. Hostess said about 30 min wait for 5, not a big deal. By the time the wife and I got done perusing the small gift shop our table was ready. Forgot to grab her name but our server was awesome! Drinks never hit bottom!! (which is a big thing for me.) She was attentive and personable! The nachos are great! The queso on them is better than some Mexican joints! I had the pulled pork sandwich which was good. The wife’s flatbread margarita pizza was very good and the kids say the chicken bites were good. Ambience is awesome, love the tractor bar! Overall very good, exceeded my expectations!

Jason Aldean’s new restaurant in Gatlinburg did not disappoint! The servers were incredibly friendly and took great care of us from start to finish our drinks stayed full the entire time. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was awesome, with great music that really added to the experience. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go back again!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming during our visit. It was a pleasure to see so much cool memorabilia on display. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. We would be happy to return again soon.

We visited Jason Aldean’s restaurant on the evening before New Year’s Eve. The wait time was quite reasonable since we arrived relatively early. The staff were very attentive and tried their best, although there were a few issues with service.
Our appetizer, the egg rolls, was served before we had received any drinks. The portion consisted of three egg rolls, halved, and they were absolutely delicious. The main courses were just as tasty, though the portions were not particularly large.
One minor downside was the service — our server, a young woman, seemed a bit overwhelmed. Our drinks, margaritas, took a long time to arrive, and we had to ask twice where they were. Additionally, the drinks themselves were quite weak in terms of alcohol.
Overall, it was a fun experience and the food was very good, but it probably won’t become one of our favorite restaurants.

The drafts were tasty! Appetizer: fried pickles, first one was delightful and then everyone after that was like a party in my mouth, great flavor(spicy from the rub)!, I had the chicken and Mac n cheese, was a lil spicy but not bad from the pepper jack sauce, other half had the pot roast and everything was moist great flavor on the roast itself as well as it’s moistness, not dry like most potroasts. We will return for other items on the menu!

Recently went to Jason Aldeans bar! The food was absolutely fantastic! And the view was wonderful. However, our experience with our server was lackluster. She was pretty short with us the entire time. And did not bring us all of the drinks that we had ordered. When we asked to have the drinks removed or just verify that they weren’t on the bill, She became very short with us. After already providing kind of curt service initially, and not introducing herself until we asked for her name twice. I hope Britain has a better day next time! It also could’ve been that it was hot, maybe late in her shift. But it kind of ruined the experience for us.

Overpriced, lousy service and mediocre food. Exactly what I thought I could expect at a place like this and the location it was in. Had the nachos, they were decent. $11.00 for a draft beer though? Cmon. Stopped in during mid afternoon when it was slow, not much going on, bartender was rude, slow, acted like we were an inconvenience. Won’t go back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spend your $$ at a restaurant where the owner is present and they actually want and need your money. Atmosphere and decor is cool, really about the only thing they’ve got going for them.

Went multiple times during our vacation because the atmosphere was fun. Fantastic views from the rooftop deck and the live music was great 2/3 times. More bartenders on the rooftop bar is necessary especially when there is live music. Food was good, not a whole lot of choices on the roofop but the food came out faster than it took to get a bartender to take your order.
