Cons: none
The food here is incredible and cooked fresh on site. We didn’t wait long to get our meals, spring rolls as an appetizer and massaman chicken and beef were our main courses. Large enough portions for leftovers and it was delicious. Many Thai places add a lot of cheap fillers to their dishes but not Jasmine Thai, you won’t find your curry loaded with white onions just to take up space. The owner was very pleasant and spent time chatting with us, his wife is the cook, she’s from Thailand and they do it right. Do come here and support this small locally owned business, you won’t regret it.
For an appetizer, forget deciding and get the Jazzy platter – two of everything! Keep the sauces for later.
They will tell you the dishes are prepared on the mild side. We found this to be very very true, so order as appropriate for your palette. Unlike many thai restaurants that have warm spicy to FIRE!!, the dishes are supper mild no matter how many stars are on it. Now trust me everything is tasty, so don’t automatically grab the Saracha. But it will be milder than normal Thai. Enjoy
Pros- Quiet, calm, spacious dining area. Great customer service, friendly & attentive staff. Affordable, great value for the amount of food, safe easy to find location, *FREE & convenient parking!* The Book nook area is a unique and brilliant idea! As a homeschool family we were so pleased to see such a plethora of books, and movies at such a great price. Absolutely recommend and we will return! 🙂
cons- None
• Pad Thai which was underwhelming. The chicken was overcooked and the flavor was pretty plain. It’s my favorite Thai dish and I won’t be ordering it from here again.
• Orange Chicken which was nearly inedible. As you can see from the photo, the chicken is chicken nuggets. The sauce wasn’t tasty enough to cover up the fact that we were eating processed chicken.
• Steamed vegetables: nothing special there
• Iced coffee which was entirely too sweet.
All in all it was overpriced and disappointing. There won’t be any return trips.
I have nothing but joy for this place.
This is the first time I have been here and I was a little skeptical however after now eating the food I can say that was not necessary.
Upon entering I was greeted by the person at the register who asked if I wanted dine in or carry out. I chose dine in and they allowed me to choose a table.
After sitting they got me and my girlfriend a drink and I informed our server that we will be having 2 more guests joining us to which we were brought 2 more menus.
We ordered our food and were actually the only ones there.
I heard them cooking the food fresh in the back and the food came out fast according to how I was expecting it. You can’t rush fresh food !
Everything was amazing and I will definitely be coming back here a lot more. I got pork fried rice and a giant pho. It was phoantastic
Also side note food was made fresh! And perk for me with a bit of social anxiety it was nice and quiet.
