My husband and I braved the snowy winter weather for lunch at Jasmine Rice & Thai, and it was worth every icy step.
I’ve loved jasmine rice when it was at its original location, but this location is cozy, unique, and delicious. The owner was on site and cooking, welcoming guests, and had the kindest energy. Everything is made to order, and you can taste the care in every bite. The ambiance was causal and inviting.
We ordered the chicken satay, beef pho, and pad kra prao chicken, comfort food perfection especially on this cold day. Finished it off with Thai tea, which was unique. Also, The owner graciously gave me a tour of her kitchen, it was such an honor and a special experience you don’t get everywhere. The food was so good, the staff friendly, will definitely return again in the future.

We were going to order from another restaurant but it is closed on Mondays. So glad that was the case because we ended up ordering from Jasmine. Wow, the food is so good! I’ll be happy the rest of the week because of that meal. I had Tofu Pad Thai (definitely top 2 I’ve had in Lex), Crab Rangoon, and the Thai Rolls. Perfect comfort food.

What a delight! Everything was wonderful: food, prices, service. My partner is selective about her pho and she gave it a very high stamp of approval. All the flavors were on point and so delicious. The owner even came by and introduced herself, which we always appreciate. Wish we didn’t live so far, but next time we’re in the area, we’ll definitely be back.

We originally planned to order from a different restaurant, but since they’re closed on Mondays, we had to switch things up — and honestly, I’m so glad we did! That’s how we ended up ordering from Jasmine, and wow… what a happy accident!
The food was absolutely incredible ✨ I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai, and it’s easily in my top two that I’ve ever had in Lexington. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the noodles were cooked just right, and the tofu was seasoned so well I also got the Crab Rangoon and the Thai Rolls, and both were delicious — crispy, fresh, and full of flavor
Everything about the meal just felt like the ultimate comfort food. It seriously made my whole day better, and I’ll probably still be thinking about it for the rest of the week Safe to say, Jasmine has gained a new loyal customer!

LOVE THE NEW LOCATION!
She re-opened on Georgetown road and it is so much closer to my workplace than the old location.
We arrived a little ahead of the lunch rush. Business picked up quickly while we were there. A lot of call in orders, along with most tables being seated.
The Crab Rangoon and Pot Sticker appetizers both delivered quickly. The flavor was great. Hot and crispy.
The Pad Thai and Thai Sweet and Sour Chicken were both very good as well. The option to choose spice level is a savior if someone can’t have any/many spicy foods.
Looking forward to the next visit already!

Good but not quite as good as I’ve known it to be in the past. Prices are higher but food quality fell in my opinion. These noodles used to be like an orange/yellow color.

I can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant! I took a group of students for a field trip today and the owner was amazing. She was attentive and patient with a group of indecisive teenagers! The food and experience were top notch-please stop in for a visit.
We would also love to send a shout out to the customers next to us who left $100 to pay for our food. The kids were very appreciative and wished they could say thank you in person.
